Let it be Known

"Sorry. Obamacare is going to hurt me and I can't buy that right now." "Sorry. I used to give to your charity each year, but the money must go for my higher health insurance costs due to Obamacare." "Sorry. We have to lay off 20% of our work force, and the people who own the cars in the company lot with the Obama Biden bumper stickers.... well, you're first. You understand, don't you?" I used to avoid the unknown incoming phone numbers on my home phone. They were usually solicitors. But not anymore. I pick up, I listen... then I let it be known that I can't buy that right now. I choose not to buy that right now. I choose not to give at this moment. I just found out what Obamacare is doing to me and my family and, frankly, my duty is to take care of them. People who support Obama and his "signature" legislation have to be made to know, must learn, that what is bad for me just became bad for them. Don't miss an opportunity to let them know that their guy is the cause.

This is better than the Jerry Sienfeld version of the telemarketing call.

The economy will go into Depression over this. I don’t see how you avoid that.

..or people just simply won’t participate and there will be an untold number of people being prosecuted by the IRS.

I’m following the suggestion here and am letting it be known far and wide what Zero’s and Dem party Death care is doing. I have just had my second health policy cancelled the since this Obama-nation was passed. I pay just short of $1,400 a month for wife and I. I am expecting a $1,000 a month increase to $2,400 for insurance. The U S government is my mortal enemy.

Wow you have my sympathy!

A company that I do consulting work for is going to announce next month that they will not be renewing their healthcare plans. They will be pushing all of their employees on to the exchange. The last census I ran for them... They have 41,289 full time employees...

The merde is fixing to hit the ventilateur

I'm going to be contrary and ask, why punish the charities? It will do nothing to rid us of this Obamacare monstrosity, plus as charities go broke, government will be picking up the slack. That means higher taxes supporting causes you may not believe in, along with the usual waste and fraud that accompany government programs.

Charities are hurting big time. There is far more demand for assistance than money coming in. Really, if you have even an extra dollar, how about sending it to your favorite charity? They could use it, plus you'll feel better.

I am calling all these traitors to tell them it’s not the tea party they have to worry about, it’s the tar and feather party that is dangerous.
They want terrorists,they got them.
That ought to waste the IRS time.fkn Gestapo.
Hang in there. Once the world series and the superbowl are over then. America will wake up.

There is not enough courts nor jails to do this.

The tradition of charity, of compassion in our country is under attack by the encroachment of government. We have a crisis of compassion based solely on government unconstitutional encroachment into the sacred domain of the private sector.
As government assumes responsibility for the needs of citizens private charity is squeezed out of its purpose for being. Of course government never actually solves social problems. It only worsens them as justification for expanding its budget and range.
Private charity is needed in the face of government interference now more than ever. Government makes a bad situation immeasurably worse as is its intent.
The private charity sector must go to war against government intrusion if community compassion is to survive.

I do it to every telemarketer. The black telemarketers often just hang up. They can’t handle the truth. The worst president in history just happens to be black and they can’t stand that truth.

Are you kidding?!! Hell that’s more than a lot of people earn a month! And this is mandatory or you pay a penalty. How can anyone in their right mind have approved of this? Oh yeah....making laws for peasants when you’re exempt is easy to do.

Re: punishing charities

What about healthcare charities? I donate blood regularly and did so yesterday. When they asked if I wish to make my next appointment, I told them that I will probably not donate blood any longer due to government interference in the nation’s healthcare industry. If Obamacare is going to bleed us dry, they can pay for it in the future. I will no longer donate blood until government gets the hell out of my healthcare choices.

You should have seen the liberals’ faces.

There are charities that I still give to...I was thinking more in line with the telemarketer phone banks soliciting for groups like NYPIRG, PETA, etc... although I am very likely to not donate to charities who help potential Obama voter types such as food banks and others for the so-called downtrodden (re: drug addicts, various and sundry loser types, and illegal aliens) and I also include breast cancer in that group because the Komen Foundation forwards a grant to Planned Parenthood.

Nope, I am becoming more and more resentful of the poor. In fact, I detest them down to the last.
