Yes, this is a real current temperature presented by NOAA/NWS for the forecast of Addison, TX near Dallas.
I checked the airport ASOS at Dallas Addison Airport (KADS) and sure enough, the reading is there:

This is likely an ASOS station failure, which is a fairly common occurance, like I pointed out in Honolulu a couple of years ago:
More on NOAAs FUBAR Honolulu record highs ASOS debacle, PLUS finding a long lost GISS station
I find it amazing they dont have a simple data sanity check built into the NOAA data dissemination system. This wouldnt even pass in Death Valley. How many other incorrect temperatures get logged but never noticed because they arent so absurd as to be impossible?

Well, given that temperature, I hope it does rain.
I live in Dallas.
It looks about right to me.
That’s based on one degree per Addison restaurant
Global Warming is upon us..
You should probably be seeing vapor rising from your wine or mixed drink by now.
Like a sauna.
Yeah, but it’s a dry 160 degrees so it’s not so bad.
Gotta prove global warming somehow.
The same government that’s going to provide your health care, protect your most confidential health information, and build a few websites to enroll. We’re in good hands with our betters.
That sounds like the Weather Channel. They are certain Glowbull Warming is going to make the seas rise catastrophically in one hundred years but they can’t get the current temp right for my zip code.
“Well, given that temperature, I hope it does rain.”
Rain might cook people alive at that temp.
It’s dry, all right...5% humidity to go along with that 160 degree reading...
ROFL!
I'm guessing Jim Hensen from NASA has picked up a retirement gig calibrating thermometers?
Addison? Maybe the CAF had “FiFi” the B-29 out warming up her engines.
Wait, was this during the roll-call vote in the congress passing that surrender bill, if so it’s possible.. It depends on how many Conservative were in Dallas at the time.. LOL
