(((((It's So Good to See you, Dear Dolly!)))))
Goodnight to Everyone, and God Bless. Love you All!
(((((Amen!)))))
Thank you, Kitty Mittens. HUGS!
A number of years ago, when I was a new human resource manager for a company, I attended the visitation and funeral of a long-time employee I had never met. The worker, a bricklayer, was loved by his co-workers, yet very few came to see his widow. I listened to someone trying to console her by saying that many people stay away because they are afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing and making the family more miserable.
In times of distress, however, people rarely remember what we say. What they most remember is that we were there. Familiar faces offer strength beyond description; they provide comfort for the deep feelings of loneliness setting in from the loss. This gift of presence is one were all capable of offering, even if were tongue-tied or uncomfortable.
Martha and Mary were surrounded by friends and mourners who comforted them when their brother Lazarus died (John 11:19). Then the One they most longed to seeJesuscame and wept with them (vv.33-35). The people responded, See how He loved him! (v.36).
In loss of any kind, Jesus always gives His comforting presence, and we have the ability to give deeply of His compassion simply by the gift of our presence.
Read: John 11:14-27
Congrats Meg! My back has been brutal lately. Makes things difficult. Just being persistent but patient.
;o)
Patience is key..and I get short on it..I pray for patience as I recognize this fault(among many) of mine..
Deep sympathy for your brutal back pain...I can take days off without penalty where you can’t ! I have engaged in persistence..Going up and down the step ladder so much had unused leg muscles fired up..and I knew stopping too long would mean I had to start over getting them in shape.
When the back says stop..I listen better than I used to.
I just made a list of what not to do..so point agony won’t take over..(Patience required)
Of course sometimes it hits when I have done nothing at all.
I am so grateful and taking advantage of this ability to DO!
I’m thankful you have been able to get this done. Sometimes it’s the little things..... :)
Beautiful message on a beautiful graphic..I am thankful you have joined us at Just Amy’s.

Thank you, LUV..Believe me little things mean so much.
The kitties were in shock at so much activity..They followed me around at times..and loved the step ladder a LOT!..LOL
Much more needs doing but I am resting today..with back enforced patience.
(((HUGS)))
Back at cha..Adorable, (((Kitty)))
I mean step stool not ladder..I stay off ladders nowadays..LOL
What is this “dusting” concept? I don’t think I am familiar with it.
: )
I lost that concept so ..How about scrubbing when dusting won’t do. YUK..Every day has been a “fuzzy” day lately. Miles yet to go. More fuzz to discover and get rid of, God willing.
;o)
I know exactly how you feel.
Thank you, MEG. :-)
There is so much cleaning to do here, I can’t even start except to keep the dishes done, and the floors clean. Dusting is my worst violation. I should steam the carpets too, it has been too long since the last time. You don’t want to even see my linen closet! Yikes! The stuff is in there, but not exactly folded and stacked.
