Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
~Hebrews 13:8~
Wishing everyone a peaceful and restful LORD'S Day!
Meg, thank you welcoming us all, with such a beautiful graphic and scripture!
This is GORGEOUS.
Amen to your words and scripture.
Thank you, (((yorkie))), for your sweet comments..My pleasure
I overslept, had a phone call, posted on the Canteen and FReepathon thread..and skipped breakfast.
Time for lunch!
;o)
![]() Scripture of the day--- Jeremiah 4:19 ESV My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain! Oh the walls of my heart! My heart is beating wildly; I cannot keep silent, for I hear the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war. |
Breathtaking, Yorkie!
Thank you for your kind words, Luv!
I just wanted to tell you that this graphic and Scripture sure do say a lot! Incredible!! Thank you!
I just read all of Jeremiah4 and 5..The end verse of 5.
A horrible and shocking thing
has happened in the land:
31 The prophets prophesy lies,
the priests rule by their own authority,
and my people love it this way.
But what will you do in the end?”
Lord have mercy on this land and may we heed your warnings..May we repent and honor Your word..

Thanks for the ping Amy, had a harrowing weekend. Had some concerns over dad which resulted in paramedic and district nurse visit. District Nurse did not really listen to me and insisted in him going back to hospital. After several hours on a gurney on ER taken to CDU (Clinical Decisions Unit - area where is it a proper ward for a transit ward you are there while they decide where you need to go and who to be under). Finally saw registrar and then consultant overnight who decided as the symptons were not severe and had past we could go home. So after hospital transport got us home and carers arrived to put dad to bed 24 hours had passed. Hopefully he will get a good night and be none the worse for the experience tomorrow.
Thank you Amy. Just dropping in and am glad to see how well JimRob is doing!! He sure had enough people praying for him!
Lol, thanks Luv. Cute picture - I think the dog was smart!!
Beautiful Meg. We had some rain and a small cool front come in last night.
Good to see you yorkie! That is a wonderful scene!
I love the YouTube video of people in a food court of a mall, who in the midst of their ordinary lives were suddenly interrupted by someone who stood up and boldly began singing the Hallelujah Chorus. To the surprise of everyone, another person got up and joined the chorus, and then another, and another. Soon the food court was resounding with the celebrative harmonies of Handels masterpiece. A local opera company had planted their singers in strategic places so that they could joyfully interject the glory of God into the everyday lives of lunching shoppers.
Every time I watch that video, it moves me to tears. It reminds me that bringing the glory of God into the ordinary situations of our world through the beautiful harmonies of Christlikeness is exactly what we are called to do. Think of intentionally interjecting Gods grace into a situation where some undeserving soul needs a second chance; of sharing the love of Christ with someone who is needy; of being the hands of Jesus that lift up a weary friend; or of bringing peace to a confusing and chaotic situation.
As the psalmist reminds us, we have the high and holy privilege of declaring His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples (Ps. 96:3).
Read: Psalm 96
Good Morning, Amy!
