According to TMZ, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones was hurt early Monday morning when a stripper named Sweet Pea smashed a giant champagne bottle over his head during a brawl on a party bus.
I know, I know, it sounds outrageous. But according to the gossip site, the story is legit and becomes more believable when you consider the company Jones was with. Per TMZ, this is how it went down:

I had "Sweet Pea" in a 45 record. The song, that is.

True, but those who picked the stripper over the brawny football player in their “Fantasy Strip Club Brawl” leagues are pretty pleased with themselves right now.

Everything about this story is believable and yet so so so wrong. Yes, I agree... what a terrible waste of perfectly good champagne.

“when a stripper named Sweet Pea smashed a giant champagne bottle over his head”
Is it too late for Jones to get in on the NFL class action concussion law suit settlement?

It’s part of the farcical HGH population study the nfl is doing. They asked him how he wanted the blood drawn, and he said “Champagne bottle applied by stripper.”

So, that is why many NFL players wear pink in October (or is it November?).

"Sweet Pea". GREAT name for a stripper.
Peas in a pod.... for some reason this reminds me of something I read the other day about beaver butt juice being what they use for "natural vanilla" flavoring in food.
I looked up "vanilla" and learned that its name means "little pod". It's derived from the Spanish word "vaina" which means "sheath". And believe it or not, that in turn derives from the Latin "vagina" meaning sheath, from whence the lady-part gets its name as well.
So the name "Sweet Pea" may be a multi-layered pun on her ..., ummm, .... never mind, it's probably not very sweet after a night on the bus with a bunch of football players.

Yes, she's probably a scholar of the Romance languages. Working her way through college. Those early morning classes are hell, though, after a night on the bus.
