Two flowers on both Sesame plants have opened - they look like white bells - what is that flower that has all white small bells on it - is it “Baby’s Breath”? That is what they look like and there are others that will be open by tomorrow.
I looked closely at the wood planter with the Walking Onions in it and there are four more coming up. Right now they are specks of green and you can’t see them unless you get really close. The one that first came up is over 2 inches tall.
Johnny, there is one more growing bag that has plants I transplanted from under the grow lamp AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS. I’ll look at the plant tags I wrote and see if I can figure that out. I won’t make that mistake next time, will stay with it until I get the tags stuck in their soil. I was so tired and hot and sweaty with planting and getting those plants out there, I quit, didn’t think about the tags.
All plants I transplanted look good and are growing well. I would like to see a flower starting on a tomato plant but there is nothing.

No, it’s a common small bell flower with these little bells up and down the thin limbs you see in with cut flowers to make a pretty vase of flowers. It’s sort of an extra in vase flowers. That’s what the flowers on this Sesame plant look like.
It’s the same process for everything I start as seeds, which is mostly maters and peppers. I use bottom heat to trick the seeds into thinking it is spring and time to germinate by warming the soil. My germinator/incubator(aka: materbator) is on my FR homepage. It has worked well for about 5yrs. I really need to build a new and improved version since the first was kinda thrown together in a hurry.
I will baby them along until they are robust enough to put out next spring, and try this again.

Thanks. I chopped out the spots and cooked them up. I don’t have very many tomatoes this year what with my late start and the temps going cold a few weeks early.
Probably half of my tomatoes went into the composter so far, so at least they aren’t a total waste. I have one or two good plants left - so I’m hoping for a chance for them to ripen a bit before bringing them in to finish. We are dropping to the 30s at night and the days have been 60s-ish. Expecting low 70s in the next few days, so I’m hoping for that.
My husband plans to grow tons of tomatoes next year, but is appalled at how much work it is to process them. I suggested that he come to terms with the work because I won’t be doing it alone if he grows a bunch!

Looked it up and that’s exactly what the little white flowers on the Sesame Plant look like. I just couldn’t think of the name of that plant, Ladys, and you nailed it.

I used to just pull up the whole plant before a freeze, and hang it upside down in the garage, or playhouse to finish ripening
May have to try that way, we are expecting a freeze tonight I hear. :(
