For you Kindle owners. A little dated, but it's supposed to be some kind of classic.

Help! How do I download from the amazon web site? I do not see any type of “download button” or text.
You just hit the ORDER button.
Thanks ... got it.
Go to the link that Mylife posted that shows the book.
Over to the right you will see a green shaded box that says Buy Now with 1 Click. Just underneath that is a clickable line that says “Available on your PC”. Click on that and it will take you to another page to download the reader to your PC.
I don’t see an Order button, where is it located?
Got it! Thanks.
This probably for sure puts me on a watch list. Suck it NSA, FBI, HSA and DoJ.
My mistake.
Upper right hand corner “Buy now, one click”
Thanks guys!
Downloaded it to my PC, my Kindle, and my phone!
I dunno, not exactly a newbie at this, but have had programs that get a wild hair now and then for whatever reason.
Thanks
I am not sure what the matter is.
I hope you figure it out.
A $45 book for free is pretty hard to pass up.
I like Dunlap’s wood working work bench.
It is inlaid with masonite as is mine.
Yes, it’s a classic. A bit of the book has been plagiarized from other sources, but the content is basically sound.
I would advise against using some the chemicals he used for cleaning barrels - especially the idea of using mercury to remove lead from barrels. It works well, but it’s mercury.
Dunlop of course covers nothing of the newer semi-autos, but them most newer semi-auto rifles and pistols don’t have much gunsmithing done on them. Much of what passes for “smithing” on things like Glocks and AR’s is actually armorer-level parts changing.
Thanks for the tip.
Managed to download it to something called My Kindle and can read it through a web page called “Cloud Reader” Dunno why the PC reader will not run. Tried uninstalling and cleaning the regeistry several times, still nothing when trying to open the program. It is indeed installed in Amazon\Kindle, so who knows. Maybe XP is not as supported and debugged.
Glad yo got it, but XP is supposed to be supported.
Were you able to get it to work?
Sounds like the kind of problem I run into when I block too many scripts.
If you’ve installed any kind of script blocking app, make sure it isn’t blocking Amazon’s scripts. Good luck.
So Amazon now knows who owns guns ... just a thought.
