I knew going into my 30-day experiment of living with a gun that I was putting my family and myself at risk.
Only two days into my experiment I went to breakfast with my two kids and some friends. After eating and shopping, my gun with me the entire time, I was anxious to get home to enjoy the warm weather. I put my purse on the counter and then spent the next hour out on the back deck. Walking into the kitchen to refresh our drinks, I noticed my purse with the 9mm Glock still inside it. Id forgotten to lock it up! Panic set in as I realized my teen son was playing videogames just 10 feet away. What if hed decided to get the socks Id bought him from my purse while I was out on the deck? Thoughts raced through my mind and I pondered how Id just straddled the fine line between being a responsible gun owner and an irresponsible idiot whose 15-year-old just accidentally shot himself or someone else with my gun.
...
Since having the gun Ive had two repairmen, a carpet cleaner, and a salesmen in my home. If the guns for self-protection, its not going to do any good in the safe, but its not really practical to have the gun pointing at them as they work.
Blah, Blah, Blah

I’m willing to bet between her and her closest friends, there are a lot of dead baby souls crying out to God 24/7 for justice.
So an inanimate object is controling her thoughts. That could indicate a common problem with left wing nut jobs.
Im just a mom who wanted to see what it felt like. Now I know.
No. She was a person with an agenda trying to prove something with predictable results.
It moved!! I swear I saw it move!!
She needs a psychologist. Or a priest. Or a redneck friend.
HuffPo has a couple minute video of her being interviewed after the project was over. She's a quivering wreck. IMHO.
(Ironically, the vid shows her being interviewed in Phoenix, AZ. Does she realize she's in a "just do it" constitutional carry state?)
Was there a bag of Skittles in her purse and a baby duck? Did she get lessons on the Glock and get a Concealed Carry permit?
Was the "no manual safety" Glock floating around loose in her purse with all the rest of her purse stuff?
Im willing to bet between her and her closest friends, there are a lot of dead baby souls crying out to God 24/7 for justice.
Would not be surprised.
I have no more sympathy for unarmed victims. I do not care if they do or do not own/carry a gun and I don’t care if they die or worse because they chose not to. Frankly, I feel we’re better off without them anyways. Once they decide they need to foist their misguided views onto the rest of the country, however, It’s another story entirely.
Dear Heidi,
Carrying a gun is not for everyone. I don’t carry one either. I own a number of them, but I choose not to carry them in public. My guns are to defend my home and my freedom should the need to do so arise.
I do carry other self defense items in public, but that is my choice. I respect your choice, Heidi, and I expect you to respect my choice, Heidi, and I also expect you to respect the choice of those who do carry guns in public.
The is a free country, and guns are legal.
Reads like fiction to me.
Yep. There's a noticeable smell of bull obama around this "report."
One word. Holster.
1) She was intent on slapping idiotic Brady Campaign stats lies all throughout.
2) She never acknowledged that she should get more training, whether it was mandated by Big Brother or not.
3) She never had the epiphany that maybe some people just shouldn't be armed and that she's obviously one of them. While she does reference the responsibility of carrying a gun, she seems to stop at "I can't handle it, therefore no one else can either."
4) And the most egregious error on her part: equating not thinking about a threat as being the same as that threat no longer existing. Such a basic, basic fallacy in thought, and she let it right on out.
agit -prop
Her premise is that the ease with which any non-felon can get a gun is a danger yet all this bimbo has managed to prove is that a stupid, reckless, nuerotic can carry around a loaded gun for 30 days with no ill effects. I might take her arguement more seriously if her kid had killed himself or if she murdered some one.
Glock aint a purse gun unless nothing is in the chamber.
This woman should just shoot herself and put us all out of misery. If she could even figure that out.
She starts off, “I knew going into my 30-day experiment of living with a gun that I was putting my family and myself at risk.” What a freaking deep thinking research oriented bimbo. “I knew as I approached the free throw line that I would miss both attempts and lose the championship”
Actually getting some instruction, even going somewhere and having fun making a tin can jump with a .22, is not what this month was about. She wanted to live out the latest talking point: "harder to get your dog vaccinated than buy a gun". She wanted to be ignorant.
And so she remained.
This woman should just shoot herself and put us all out of misery. If she could even figure that out.
Was this gun, if it ever existed (remember, we've seen no pics), ever loaded at all?
