Bernanke just now during his post-FED Meeting presser:
"Between 5% and 6% unemployment is what we consider to be "Full Employment"".
Remember when Nancy Pelosi and the TV told you that 4.3% Unemployment (1.8% in Indiana at the time) was "THE WORST ECONOMY SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION!!!" under Bush?
Is that U3 or U6 using the models back from the Reagan days? Because if so Helicopter Ben you need to get from your Current 15% unenjoyment to a real number of 5%, that means get of your @$$ and get crackin to make some jobs...
Depends what your definition of unemployment is? is is, Clinton
So by this measure, Bush may be the most economically successful of all presidents. Unemployment was under that range for almost his entire term.
Epic Fail.
END THE FED NOW
Talk about low standards. Typical liberal, redefine excellence as something unacceptable.
Liberals always have big mouths and mouth off but always under deliver.
It used to be 4 percent was consider full employment. Is this a little re-writing of history?
Gee during the Bush years when unemployment was between 4-5% we were told it was the worst economy since the Great Depression. Now unemployment is hovering around 9% and we are told things are great economically.
First of all, Pelosi wouldn’t know real employment if you hit her over her bugeyed head with it. She understands being on the public dole, lying sacocrap welfare queen that she is.
Second, there are a lot of people working part time jobs, or two part time jobs that pay less than the full time jobs they used to have. This is Obama’s America, and it is going to get worse, much worse when Americans discover they can’t afford Affordable Healthcare.
From the man who wants to throw money out of a helicopter, so not a surprise.
