I just did a search and couldn’t find anything about hogs/pigs being guard animals Did you do a search on "Arnold Ziffle"? I don't recall him ever being in a guard-pig situation, but I'm sure he could have done it. He was the smartest animal in the World.

I hope Odin got lots of love and treats for that one.
We have a puppy now, a pretty Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix named Bear. Five months old, 58 pounds. (He’s also known as “Panzerdog” and “Dog Mclargehuge.”) I don’t know whether the Pyr or the GSD is going to come out in his personality, but I am hoping he will end up being a good guard dog someday. Right now, he’s a big furry ball of mush that lets the Chihuahuas down the street absolutely own him.

Not any Dog mind you, a German Shepard trained in Germany My cousins had a"from Germany" German Shepard. It wasn't as big as the American breeds, but it was much more aggressive and quick. They had a campground and kept it chained outside the store. There were a few times when a camper's dog would get loose and wander down to check him out and sometimes get into it with him. They all ran away yelping in fear, even the big German Shepards.

You DO know the origin of that “fashion”, right? LOL!
(JFTR, when a n00bie is first incarcerated in prison, the belt, suspenders, shoelaces and other possible weapon are taken from him. This make the shoes floppy and the pants fall down, thus signaling to all the hardened prisoners that the guy is a “fresh meat”. Truly and encouraging and uplifting role model for today’s yutes.)
