#2 During Obama's first term, the federal government accumulated more debt than it did under the first 42 U.S presidents combined. #4 If you started paying off just the new debt that the U.S. has accumulated during the Obama administration at the rate of one dollar per second, it would take more than 184,000 years to pay it off. #27 Back in 1965, only one out of every 50 Americans was on Medicaid. Today, one out of every 6 Americans is on Medicaid, and things are about to get a whole lot worse. It is being projected that Obamacare will add 16 million more Americans to the Medicaid rolls.

In fact, there have been liberal people on MSNBC who say that were decreasing the deficit too fast, and that decreasing the deficit hurts the economy. Just like paying off the mortgage, car loans, and credit cards hurts the family budget?

I read them all and the only power I have against what is likely to happen is store water/food/shelter/power source/security. If the country falls apart, I won't. My country will be my house and back garden.

Good plan. The gov’t will take every penny of any “money” the subjects has saved before it goes down.

Believe me, they are already monitoring email, text messages, phone conversations, Tweets, and Facebok updates of every member of FR. Don’t kid yourself. The next step is to deny basic life-saving medical care to anyone who disagrees with the regime,

“#1 Back in 1980, the U.S. national debt was less than one trillion dollars. Today, it is rapidly approaching 17 trillion dollars..”
I remember back in grade school my teacher was concerned about the size of the trillion dollar debt and she wrote the number trillion out on the black board.

P.S., and back when I was in grade school I would say my nightly prayers and thank God that I was lucky to be born in the U.S., because even though we were poor, I could grow up and be anything I wanted to be, and free to believe anything I wanted.
My grandkids don’t feel the same way.

#19 Small business is rapidly dying in America. At this point, only about 7 percent of all non-farm workers in the United States are self-employed. That is an all-time record low.Who is John Galt?

Agreed. This is why I’m trying to expand my seed supply this year, and hoping to make progress on my house before winter.
The good news is, one of my disagreements with my dad actually turned out in my favor for once. He hated my potato towers, said they were ugly and not in a straight line. He had told me to move them from the back yard out to my land, so I was planning to do that this weekend. Long story short, he changed his mind about what to do with them, and I got a third garden bed out of the deal! One end sectioned off for potatoes, and the other end is already planted with peppers, onions, and runner beans :)

And you can bet there will be folks on both sides denying these numbers. There will be some on FR who deny trade deficits are bad...for starters
Our economy is in the toilet....and will get worse the more we ignore it

There will be some on FR who deny trade deficits are bad...for starters Back in 2006, if you raised concerns about the booming housing market being made of clay, you were in for a red hot flame attack from Freepers who were real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and house flippers.
I kid you not.
