This result might also reflect that Gallup found that a slim majority of Americans are either "very" or "somewhat" following news of the IRS and Benghazi scandals, "comparatively low based on historical measures of other news stories over the last two decades." Low-information voters could still obsess about Angelina Jolie's surgeries or whether Beyonce is pregnant again:

Now who said the no/low info voters don't care? They care more about other celebs than the COTUS. Thinkin' nobody will suffer except the 4 dead who apparently don't make any difference now. Right hildebeast?

I'm still waiting for a Butterfield or a Dean to emerge.
The administration now has to juggle threats and promises to dozens of bad actors, to ensure their silence.
It's a big help that the MSM is still behind them. They've already "moved on" from the IRS, Benghazi etc.

Maybe it will take a “bombshell”...but still...ABCBSNBCNNPRPBS are downplaying this whole thing.
Remember this guy is THE president of the MSM. They campaigned for him twice...they LOVE Obama...this morning on CBS “news”...the “Director of News” was interviewed by a “reporter”...remember this is the guy who said a few weeks ago...now is the time for Obama to “pulverize” the GOP...anyway...he said this morning...”these stories are not likely to have legs”....because there is no WH involvement.
See...the “Director of CBS News”...already knows the outcome.
This is what we are up against.

Compare and contrast:
I think that Im a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And Ill tell you right now that Im gonna think Im a better political director than my political director. - Barack Obama, 2007, as quoted by Patrick Gaspard

Its the Clinton scandals all over again. The MSMwhores are only covering it because they were forced to.....coverage will consist of excuses, defense of Obama, dismissing it as a GOP witch hunt. We will get poll after poll saying no one is paying attention....no one cares....can't we just move on? I heard it on the radio driving home the other day (a Buffalo NY station). They said the IRS was accused of targeting CONSUMER groups - not conservative groups. A mistake? Yeah sure. If this was the Bush administration, the msmwhores would be foaming at the mouth. The networks would have already have aired 30- minute reports with Nixon comparisons.

This is just getting rolling.
Watergate didn’t happen in a day and neither Bluedressgate.
This is so serious as to undermine the entire government and there is no way to tell as yet just how far this STASI atmosphere has gone and into how many layers.
It ain’t over.

A majority of voters didn't care about Nixon's troubles back in 1973... at least not until it led the nightly television news every night weeks. That was before it became the only story on the nightly news for more than a year.
As I recall, Watergate was Newsweek's cover story for more than 50 issues, starting in the spring of 1973 and running straight through until Nixon resigned in August 1974.
I also remember that several newspapers took to having "Watergate sections" that readers could pull out and ignore if they were tired of hearing about Watergate.

I remember as well. The MSM even cancelled an entire summer of beloved soap operas to cover the hearings "gavel to gavel," back before 24 hour cable news, when there were only a handful of network channels.
IOW, it was all Watergate all the time until Nixon was driven out in disgrace.
As opposed to today.

You are 100% correct. I had a front row seat for the evolution of Watergate as a STRATCOM Facility Tech Controller in Tehran. We mostly had nothing better to do but read the raw AP teletype line being fed to AFRTS, and we had the only satellite link in country back to the US and had to monitor all Flash calls in and out. Remember then CIA Director Helms was “transferred” out of the CIA? He became the new Ambassador to Iran. Nobody knew what Iran was at the time or where it was.

What bombshell is this? If the low info voters haven't perked up their ears yet, they aren't going to regardless of any further bombshells.
