The two owners of Amy’s Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro took over the restaurant’s Facebook page last night to fight unruly commenters, and man, was it embarrassing.
If you recognize the name of the restaurant, it was recently featured on an episode of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. The owners were dumped by Ramsey after being too difficult to work with.

P.S. No insult intended; I’m just allergic to reality TV and spoiled brats. Combine the two and I could go anaphylactic.

I wanna cook him a meal, he would probably die from shock before the first bite, it is not that I cook unhealthy food, but the fact that I cook .. well “Weirdly”....
I make a mean fake mashed potaoes made out of whey protein powder and country grave and Kroger Carb Master Milk...
The purple food colouring makes it sooo much better than regular mashed potatoes...

Just up the “street” from me. Funniest episode of KM ever. You knew Amy was crazy when she said that her husbands stable of girls back in his wild Vegas days (when they met, her in the stable) was hotter than Hefner’s.

Slings I don’t watch Gordon Ramsey I just found this story by accident. I saw some clips of him and thought him a little uppity but now after reading and watching this entire show I truly believe he has a point. Furthermore I wonder how this business survived this long with that woman running the show. The husband seems to have a lick of sense but the wife is too far gone in my opinion. What is worse I have worked at places like this now I know what is wrong with them.

There is nothing anyone can say that will convince me these so called "reality" programs are reality. Everything is staged and the most outrageous the actions the better.
At 10:06 of the video when Ramsey returns to the restaurant the next morning, the restaurant is locked, nobody is there. But yet there is a cameraman filming Ramsey peering thru the doors prior to the cameraman then filming a long shot of the the interior of the vacant restaurant.
So who let the cameraman in or did he come thru the chimney like Santa?

Mind you child porn is rampant and people have formed a “neighborhood watch” trying to hunt sites and people who post such things and report them so that facebook may drag their heels in removing it and banning the person who did it. Aborted babies? Nope not allowed. “Offensive”.
Here’s what I got from these two. He was a Hugh Hefner wanna be who hung out in Vegas and fancied himself a gangster. He told Gordon to his face “ I am a gangster...” She admitted he had a string of arm-bimbos before her but she got her hooks in him. He’s paying dearly for his ‘arm candy’, spent over a million to buy her a restaurant and she CANNOT be contradicted in anything. Over 100 employees fired! No one is good enough for them and he even justified taking the servers tips because they didn’t deserve them! Cursing out and threatening customers! And they wonder why their business is tanking! Then they have the nerve to insist their food is great- while the place is empty and they are calling a billionaire professional to ‘help’ then argue with him!
Low class lounge lizards who need psychiatric help and LOTS of lithium- both of them! I just wish Gordon would tell people like this- just once- “ When you’re out of business I’ll offer you 10 cents on the dollar for it!” And he should call in authorities to have such people shut down permanently- especially the ones with health hazards.
It was either a pickup (aka fake shot all reality shows do a few of to put scenes together in editing), or it came from one of the ceiling mounted cameras they put in (which we got to see them removing in this ep). Can’t remember if the peering shot was level (faked pickup) or angled down (ceiling).
There was no cameraman. Each restaurant is loaded with cameras: walls, ceilings — everywhere. If they wanted to take a shot of Ramsay through the door they could do it with a cameraman.

I only ate there once, a couple of years ago. I guess the husband served us - I remember his hair as being darker (though I suppose the fact that he's still alive at all after being married to THAT for so long proves he's as tough a gangster as he says he is...) He wasn't rude to us - I guess because we paid the bill and didn't complain. Service was slow, food on the low side of mediocre, and the prices very high. We sat outside, so we didn't hear any screams from the kitchen.
With another good breakfast restaurant right across the parking lot, I've never felt the need to return to ABC since. We go to the other place at least twice a month. I didn't even know about all the controversy until I saw the linked website then watched the episode yesterday, but historical Yelp reviews suggest they have been an ongoing soap opera in town for years. This economy is not forgiving toward dilettantes with rich husbands, so when the old guy runs of money they'll be done. Gordon Ramsey did his best to put them out of our misery, but they can probably fool enough tourists and seasonal residents to pay their rent so I suspect we haven't heard the end of this sordid tale.
Obviously our Facebook, YELP, Twitter and Website have been hacked. We are working with the local authorities as well as the FBI computer crimes unit to ensure this does not happen again. We did not post those horrible things. Thank You Amy &Samy
