Mmmmm BACON!
Is that from the southern part of Japan? Looks like blackeyed peas on top...
I love seaweed. I also eat steak and dandelion sandwiches.
Of more importance, the Sun came up this morning and set this evening without any help from two unknowns (Alex Jamisson & Morgan Spurlock).
Not sure what part of Japan it’s from. I quite like it, though. Your scale is a bit off, though. Those are toasted sesame seeds.

And for a while, I thought many of the worlds problems could be solved if more people ate this way. We could end hunger if we fed grain to people instead of cattle. We could end global warming if we reduced the fertilizer, trucking and refrigeration required to produce meat. We could end the obesity epidemic.
Hijiki is one of them. Cooked with dashi, a broth created by boiling kombu(seaweed)in water, flavored with katsuobushi (dried bonita flakes), it is tasty, but while it's cooking, your house smells a little like low tide. ;o)
This would be a lot funnier if he’d not started eating meat again and instead had died.
Thanks nickcarraway.
They are things that usually move (albeit slowly), are mostly water and barely have 2 neurons to rub together...
Kinda like liberals, but they live in water...
Gotcha. :)
Hmmm. I’m not quite that adventurous, lol.
They have that slimy quality in common, too...
Actually, I think he paraphrased him, not quoted him.
Note the order of the large fangs. Our incisors are the same teeth as those on gorillas - almost exclusively existing on plant food, with a few insects thrown in.

I’ll wake you later.
The New Four Food Groups

It CAN be done; but it would not be easy. My view on diet is “wider is better” (ok - yes I stole the line). I have almost a cure for the common cold; Chix soup (ok really bird soup; pheasant, chugger, quail, etc.) with venison stock. My view is that most health problems are a result of not having all the needed nutrients. For my venison stock I'll drop at least $30 in the produce dept. The soup has something like (if you count the different bean types) 60 ingredients - not counting the stock (another 20 or so). Then there is the fact that deer eat so many different plants that the domestic critters don't get....
Plus with all the ingredients it has a really good flavor; problem is no matter how much we pull out of the freezer for a meal our daughter (16 yrs old) will eat almost all of it.
Ok, back to my point; if you take out a whole category of food/nutrition it is nearly impossible to replace it. Imagine if someone prominent said PUBLICLY that they were not going to ever again eat vegies. He/she would be subject to ridicule and for good reason. Or how about; “I'll never eat fruit again”, or grains? But “I'll never eat meat”? That is ok? We are omnivores; we need meat, we need the nutrients that it provides as much as we need them from fruits, vegies and grains.
Wrack?
It's supposed to be full of nifty nutrients.
