Human friendship and family ties are #1. Pets are a close second.

Pets provide one of man’s greatest pleasures. Even a fish.

Human friendships can turn out to be WAAAAY more stressful.
I love my dog more than most humans!

My cat decides on a day to day basis if I’m allowed to stay.....so far, so good.

You posted this right about the time I was ready to throttle one of the catz. I may anyway, if she doesn't resume being aloof and leave me alone. My BP has to be up right now. ;)

Pets provide one of mans greatest pleasures. Even a fish.Give a man a fish and he pets it for a day, give a man a cat and he posts videos of it on YouTube for life.
To: Biggirl
It has been a long established empirical fact that pets like dogs and cats lower blood pressure and ease stress. Unlike humans, pets offer true unconditional love.

I know what you mean. I have come to understand looks that mean "the service in this place is really going downhill" and "if I wanted to I could make life very difficult for you". But then there is the other side of the coin, when they are simply angels with fur. All kidding aside, I'd truly love to know what they are thinking sometimes.

That’s coming soon. As the Obama liberals say, why shouldn’t we be able to marry whomever we please? If we have a very close relationship with our cat, why should we suffer discrimination and ridicule and live in the shadows? Why shouldn’t we get our picture on the cover on Cats Illustrated?

animals have no hidden agendas. they are joy wrapped in fur. you just must be the alpha of all of them, though, thenyou will not have behavior issues.
