Crews found a pickup truck stuck in a tree almost ten feet off the ground Sunday morning near Sherwood.
Firefighters used thermal imaging to scan the truck at Highway 99 and Middleton Road and found it was empty. The details of how the truck got into the tree are a mystery to investigators. They were first alerted to the tree at 7:30 a.m. and called area hospitals, but no trauma patients came in overnight.
PGE was at the scene due to safety concerns over power lines near the tree.
Toyota?
Darksheare says it’s not his fault. He was in another state at the time, in front of witnesses.
“...be a grizzly.”
If you are in the lower 48.
Alaskan Brown bears are bigger than grizzlies.
Polar bears are bigger than Alaskan Brown bears.
Kodiak bears are bigger than Polar bears.
Just an FYI.
How the heck did she get out of that car bone dry?! I think that’s the really amazing trick there.
It’s just a saying my friend.
We see this all the time where they grow organic trucks.
It's more environmentally safe than electric cars, which they've been trying to grow from Solar Trees,...what a hoot!
Another reason why Muslims have been trying to blow up XMAS trees in Oregon. Foreigners are trying to compete, but they're low hanging fruit, as in this German model:
Competitors have been grafting hybrids recently. Take a look at this boat tree.
I love the boat tree. Take a pillow up there, stretch out, read for awhile, and then take a nap. The color scheme is nice, too.
It’s Portland, that’s all anyone needs to know.
Certainly is a saying.
Just thought you might not know the difference - many do not.
I live in Grizzly country (North of YNP by 70 miles) and do NOT want to face one down, that being said we’ve had black/brown bear here occasionally in the late fall rummaging through our garbage preparing for hibernation.
I’ve played golf in Minnesota and black bear have been on the fairway - these are little guys in Minnesota - and they look like dogs, and not that big of dogs to boot.
Still, the Minnesotans are afraid of ‘em.
Lastly, I’ve had two Alaskan Brown bears take a swipe at me - I (my legs) was just out of their reach - and it was a rather unpleasant experience to live through. They made our local Grizzlies look rather ‘tame.’ This was at 11:30 PM and the sun was shining brightly. A very surreal experience...
A similar truck failed to round a curve and struck the rear of a truck parked at my shop. It elevated, left the ground and took out the rolling shop door. There were marks 12 ‘ off the ground where the cab roof damaged the door header. The truck literally flew a distance of about thirty feet before striking the door and penetrating the building.
The apogee could easily have been as high as that pictured.
