Since the sequester was a cut in the increase, not a cut in the baseline spending, why is the FAA cutting $600 million dollars and blaming the furloughs on the sequester?
Did I miss something?
BTW, didn't Bob Woodward say that the sequester was Lew's idea and was jumped on by Obama?

When bureaucrats want to make an arguement against tax cuts, they don’t focus on their departments expenses that nobody can see, like coffee or travel budgets. They prioritize cuts on where tax payers notice first.
It’s our punishment for not pressuring out representatives to just do what Obie tells them. Tucson police did something similar, when we didn’t approve the sales tax they wanted our punishment was that they no longer respond to traffic accidents that don’t involve injury. Joke was on them though, now that you don’t have to wait for the cops or their report everything about getting in a minor accident goes faster.
Been thinking about this all week.

Obama is an expert at ‘playing dirty’. His aim is to make the people ‘feel pain’ and blame the republicans.

What should happen is....when they get back...they have to make up the hours they were paid for.
