There once was a man from Brest
Who always loved ladies’ legs best
He was off and away with friends on a trip
When a beaver gave him a heck of a nip
Beavers like man legs — who would have guessed?

Yep, if he can take down a large tree, your leg isn’t going to be much of challenge. Moral of the story, don’t mess with the chainsaws on legs....

The New York Post would have had this headline:

Brest Man dies after encounter with strange beaver

I just don't have the emotional energy to mourn, still recovering from Manya dying.

It was ONE bite and it severed a major artery.
It’s like when my mother’s 7 pound cat killed a large doberman; the cat got in a lucky bite to a major artery and the dog bled out in seconds. If the dog had bitten first it would have been all over.

Ward, we have to have a talk about the beaver. He’s really done it this time.

I think some of these ‘softball’ stories are thrown out here to ‘thin the herd’.

There are as many one liners that could arise from this story as there are mods, so the quips must be kept to a minimum lest the innuendos get ‘out of hand’.

I have tangled with some beavers that were so ‘bad’ I wanted to chop my own arm or leg off, the word coyote comes to mind but since on ‘good behavior’, will end this now.

Was the beaver doing something at the time that it didn’t want that photographed?

I rarely am presented with a dog that has been bitten by a beaver that I can save. Beavers go for the jugular and carotids and are successful more times than not when they go after a dog.
