I haven't seen that one, but the AT&T It's Not Complicated ad with little Obama doing two things at once -- shaking his head and shaking his arm -- causes my gag reflexes to kick in and I have to mute or turn the channel. Some of those ads are cute; that one is ridiculous.

I am a little surprised at how violent the program is. Especially when the Angels come down to Sodom to destroy the city. Or perhaps the violence doesn’t come across to me when I read the verses. Scary to see a Vengeful God. Hope I never see Him like that.

The producers are a husband and wife team, Mark Burnett (?) and Roma Downey, of "Touched by an Angel" fame.
Apparently, Mark is the producer of at least five #1 TV shows that I've never watched.
I heard them interviewed by Beck before the series launched. They are conservatives, and much of the discussion revolved around being a conservative in Hollyweird.
They downplayed the difficulties, which made me think they were soft conservatives. But choosing Zero to be the devil tells me otherwise.

This is silly. The guy playing the Devil does not look like Obama. This story is simply filler. Ironically, The Daily Mail is showing its racism with an “all light skinned blacks look alike to me” story.

Whether on purpose or some of that "mysterious ways" stuff I've heard about since I was a kid, what a great marketing idea!
This is exactly the kind of thing, Satan looks like obama or obama lookalike cast as Satan, that will make some people tune in and, hopefully, get the message or at least be exposed to it.
