Those ones are Ukrainian Style.

I used to make them years ago, but over the years they have broken. They are VERY fragile.

The ones in this picture are done with wax-resist technique, starting with the lightest color and working in reverse all the way till black. Then you melt all the wax off with a candle and this is what you end up with.

Takes hours to make one egg. (Something to keep you busy during LENT!)
