May Aunt Carol be Honored and Blessed Forever, through Jesus' Kindness and Love.
A Beautiful Eternity is hers, to 'Behold the King in His Beauty, in the Highlands of Heaven Far Away.' (Is.33:17)
She Sounds like my Sweet Grandmother, whom I Miss with All my Heart.
I Look Forward to Seeing her Again One Day.
Thank You, our Wonderful Lord, for your Infinite, Everlasting Love!
(I'm with you 100% on your Thoughts about Spring; we're in the Middle of a Cold Snap Here, with Howling, Chilly Winds.
The Grass is Turning Green, though, and Gives the Promise of Beautiful Weather to Come.
The Little Wild Violets are Blooming Across my Lawn, and Look like a Pretty Lavendar-Pinkish Carpet.
I can't Wait for Warmer Weather!)
(((((Hugs)))))
(((((Have a Wonderful Week)))))
I love this, yorkie. Betty Boop is everywhere, isn’t she?
Thanks! You, too! (((hugs)))
When Amanda Benavides was a sophomore at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, she began to rethink her views on Christian stewardship of the earth. Amanda had grown up thinking that being conscious of the environment had nothing to do with her relationship with Jesus. All this changed when she was challenged to consider the Christians role in caring for the planetespecially how that relates to reaching the most needy in the world.
Our stewardship of the beautiful world God gave us, and our care for the people in it, express our reverence for God and is grounded in two biblical principles.
First, the earth belongs to God (Ps. 24:1-2). The psalmist praised the Lord for His creation and His ownership of it. The heavens, the earth, and all that are in it are His. He created it, He is sovereign over it (93:1-2), and He cares for it (Matt. 6:26-30). Second, God delegated the responsibility for the well-being of His earth to us (Gen. 1:26-28). This includes appreciation of and care for both nature (Lev. 25:2-5,11; Prov. 12:10) and people (Rom. 15:2).
This is our Fathers world. Lets show Him how much we love Him by respecting it and caring for the people who populate it.

Haiti ... billions of aid dollars, in all forms were collected for Haiti and all this time later many, many are still livng meagerly in ares with sheets for defining areas. No signs of what happened to the billions of dollars America sent. No housing, no protection, few if any supplies to have when needed, it is a mess. HOW TO CHANGE THIS PROCESS IS monumentally necessary. .
It is disheartening. There seems to be no honest oversite. The UN does not do much better, if any. I am saddened for the condition of many peoples of this world.
God help us to to truly help those in need. Let the light of your WORD turn those seeking to know Thee, to find help in time of need, in Jesus name, amen.
