When a domestic cat came face to face with a crocodile it seemed the feline was about to meet a grisly end.
The hapless ginger and white cat found its way into the crocodile enclosure at a zoo in Jaipur, India,
As one reptile glided up to the animal at the water's edge onlookers tried unsuccessfully to scare the moggy away.
But if the crocodile thought feeding time had come early and the cat would be its helpless victim, it had underestimated the fearsome feline.

Predators in captivity are rarely hungry enough to mess with a clawed opponent. Cool video though

You're right.
The article should have used the word "crocodilian" if the author was unsure.

Shaky, disjointed, badly-shot/edited video, but kiteh wins the day!

My two tuxedos would have jumped in and wrestled the croc.....and win.
If they could survive the outdoors in NJ, (before they adopted me) they could survive anywhere!

Yes, in my post that got deleted because of the picture I indicated it was a fish eating “crocodile.” The only reason I knew this is because I read the comments.
But still, the jaws could have opened and snapped that kitty.

"He smells like fish! ATTACK!" One of them loves to be picked up and put on top of the aquarium, then proceeds to try to fish. The other one could care less but loves canned tuna.

I couldnt watch! As a devoted croc lover I could not watch it being torn apart by a vicious feline.
