Well then, only government officials, government workers, and academics should be allowed to have children. I suppose.

Is this because there are more stupid people per capita, or because these days, they are more likely to leave a mark? Consider that earlier, less intelligent people would have their writings or other records kept. We are more likely to find the letters of Thomas Jefferson than the ramblings of Willie, the village idiot. Today, as evidenced by the postings on various websites, idiots are now just as communicative, if not more, than their smarter counterparts.

I would wager that if an average citizen from Athens of 1000 BC were to appear suddenly among us, he or she would be among the brightest and most intellectually alive of our colleagues and companions, with a good memory, a broad range of ideas, and a clear-sighted view of important issues. Furthermore, I would guess that he or she would be among the most emotionally stable of our friends and colleagues, the geneticist began his article in the scientific journal Trends in Genetics.

Welfare countries have simply created government funded breeding programs for the least qualified people to have children, while those most qualified are tax slaves and unable to afford kids. This has done more to instigate the decline than any other single variable. This is simply my own observation formulated a decade or more ago.

Not one of the reasons listed suggests that it could be our educational system...the most obvious place to begin looking. Definitely a lack of intelligence on the part of those doing the study, I’d say.

Well, I read the article. It really is a pathetic piece. The only rational part was the first section containing quotes from a genuine genetics scientist, then followed by two other sections of gibberish injected by the lay reporter. One of his cited sources was the “Rawstory,” a left wing lunatic rag promoting socialism, homosexuals, and other assorted perverts—truly a raw sewage journal. It was simply the old bait and switch article constructed by a reporter with a political agenda and little understanding of true science.

IQ (intelligence) is for the most part inherited and not equally distributed among human races.
