Aww thank you Amy. I’m not moving so fast myself and owe some other replies here today - which I shall get to in a few minutes, lol.
Was just reading a thread that the Bush’s dog, Barney, passed away. Sad reading, we all love our pets.
Hope your weekend is a happy one too Amy!
I suffer through the winter too Jaycee. The heat runs all the time in my big old house but I still feel cold, lol. I hope you have warmer weather soon. In spite of our many aches and pains - both physical and mental - we do have much to be thankful for, as you just wrote. Here’s a (HUG) warm you up, lol.
Take care of yourself, everything else can wait. My house is full of my daughter’s stuff but I do a little at a time.(HUGS)
That is So True!
It's Funny, but even at my Age, I still don't like the Sound of the Dentist's Drill;
Even when I just go in for a Teeth Cleaning, I get the Heebie Jeebies listening to my Dentist Drilling on Someone Else's Teeth, Lol.
I Read your Posts on the Last Thread about how you don't like the Cold Weather, and I'm with you 100%, my FRiend; I will be So Glad when Spring Arrives!
I've Started Wearing those Old Fashioned Long-John Type of Pants as my First Layer of Clothes, and then Another Pair or 2 of Regular Pants over it, to Stay Warm.
That has Helped a lot, and I've Always got on a Turtleneck Sweater with Another Sweater over it, throughout the Winter.
I'm Glad January is over; Spring is Coming! : )
It was a Fun Day; I Went for a Drive in my Old MG, and Loved it,
But it's So Little that it's Difficult to get into, with my Back Problems.
I Sort of Slide Down into it on my Right Leg somehow, Lol.
This one from the 'Net looks a lot like mine:
We have a large butane tank; last month we filled it to 70% and it cost almost $700. Hopefully, we won’t need another delivery until the price goes down a little.
We had several really cold nights, but our days have been pleasant. I’m so ready for spring!!!
I am happy that Meg pinged you to February. We were blessed today, we received two ODB posts. :~)
If our beautiful spring weather continues, the almond trees will be blooming very soon.
I can't Wait for Spring, and was Delighted to See Today that my Paperwhites are Pretty Tall Now;
It won't be Long before they will be in Bloom.
I can't Wait until the Iris' Start Flowering!
The Grape Hyacinths and Crocus' will be Blooming before too Long; I'm Looking Forward to them, too.
(((((Hugs!)))))
I didn’t see that thread. It is so sad when we lose one of our beloved pets. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bush family tonight.
Hugs and Prayers Always, Sweet FRiend.
(((((Thank you for the Pings and Posts)))))
Thank you gurls - for your kind words.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Even though I wear RED on Friday's some may never see it if I don't get out and about which was the case today.
I'm anxiously awaiting Spring and warmer weather. I can't believe how cold I get in the winter when temps hover around freezing. Raised in Eastern Washington temps often dropped below O degress and I still went out in the cold to work as a plumber. I've become acclimented to Central California temperatures with no snow but it is sooooo cold during the winter months.
One of our dear aunts passed way last month. A memorial is scheduled in late March for her and we will drive north to Washington for the services.
Mrsdd spent a few days last week with her sister in Dallas for a convention SIL had to attend. First visit for Mrsdd to Texas. She really enjoyed the time in Texas.
May each and everyone enjoy your weekend. Lots of birds hovering around the yard this week. Soon the blossoms will appear on our neighbor's plumb tree. Buds are already appearing in some of our potted plants.
Enjoy your weekend!
Sorry to hear of the passing of your dear aunt. May she rest in peace.
I hear ya about the cold. I am always cold! Hubby says I have no blood...or am a reptile. Not sure I like THAT! :)
Glad your wife had a pleasant stay in Texas! We always try to be welcoming! :)
