(((((Thank you for the Pings and Posts!)))))
Miss you, too, Meg! ((((HUGS))))
This morning, I paid bills and then got gussied up (a little) to go to the grocery store, and mail my bills.
My car wouldn’t start. (”Gussied” up for nothing!)
So, triple A came out - it was my battery - they started it, but said not to turn it off. By now, it was after 2, and no place was open to put a new battery in, except one place. I drove over there, and the man was leaving, but he promised he would return in one hour and replace the battery for me.
I drove to the auto parts store, purchased the battery, then drove around for 45 minutes, waiting for the man to return, to put the new battery in. He never showed.
So, I came home and backed the car into the garage, turned it off, Hope I don’t have to go anywhere before Monday.
So, most of my day has been a normal one - LOL!
(And, the ‘gussied up’ part? I NEVER see anyone I know in the grocery store, unless my hair is a mess, and I am sans makup. Tee hee! My son said, “Why bother? You are old - no one will even LOOK at you!” He doesn’t know women.) :)
Your kitty is just precious! Thank you, Kitty!
Sorry to hear about your experience at the tax office *hugs*

The Mission Point Lighthouse was built in 1870 on a peninsula in Northern Michigan to warn ships of sand bars and rocky shores along Lake Michigan. That lighthouse got its name from another kind of lighthouse, a mission church, which was built 31 years earlier.
In 1839, Rev. Peter Dougherty answered the call to become pastor of a church in Old Mission that was made up of Native Americans who lived farther south on the same peninsula. Under his leadership, a thriving community of farmers, teachers, and craftsmen worked side by side to build a better life for the community.
When believers in Christ work together in unity, their fellowship of faith provides spiritual light in the worlds darkness (Phil. 2:15-16). Jesus said, You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. . . . Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matt. 5:14-16).
The Mission Point Lighthouse warned ships of danger, but the original Old Mission Church provided spiritual direction to all who would listen. Believers do the same individually and through our churches. We are Gods lighthouse because Jesus lives in us.
Read: Matthew 5:1-14
Pbase won’’t let you hotlink..You can probably see it as it is in your files.
I recall the lovely serene picture
Some of my framing backgrounds in Photobucket are not showing in Firefox I noticed although they do show in Internet Explorer..I forgot to check todays opening in Firefox and see it left out the major background.
Not good!
Photobucket has changed to a different company and formatting and I suppose there are many glitches to still correct.
Lovely..Thank you, yorkie.
