See Video at link. Only handguns were employed at the Sandy Hook School Massacre. The Bushmaster CAR-15 was left in the trunk of the vehicle. The entire "assault rifle" ban initiative is strictly ideological and political. No shadow or color of excuse exists for the infringement of guaranteed 2nd amendment rights of the People.

He used both a handgun and a rifle, he left the shotgun in his trunk.

It is pretty obvious from watching (and confirmed by the police report) that it was a shotgun in the trunk, not the AR.
The police report has the shooter using the AR, carrying a 10mm and 9mm handgun and a shotgun found in the trunk.
The media was tripping all over themselves to get the first story out that they would run with any rumor without fact checking it. Just because someone in the media says an AR was found in the trunk, doesn’t make it true. This is how nutty conspiracies start and we look like fools for passing them along.
So now that everyone has looked at those photos.

It is the media, they are idiots. They use stock footage all the time to try to make the story what they want. Just like how they rushed to call the shotgun in the trunk an AR (and thus spawning all these idiot conspiracy theories). At that, part of me wouldn’t be surprised if they do stuff like this on purpose to get people on our side starting dumb conspiracy theories so we are distracted by those and look stupid.

That is EXACTLY what they do.
The question is how is that stock footage? Where did it come from? Who decided to do it. And how much more of what we saw in the news reports didn’t really happen.
Btw, Anderson Cooper is the one that mysteriously found Stevens diary in Benghazi DAYS after the facility had been lit on fire.
THE CORPORATION has determined that semiautomatic rifles, with large ammo capacity, in the hands of serfs, are a threat. Free minded, Christians, veterans, homeschoolers, and serfs who believe in unalienable rights and the constitution are also suspect.
