Iovine wasn't thrilled with his last-second instructions to the music director last week. "If you're unsure, the audience is going to be unsure."
He chooses Kelly Cl-l-l-larkson's "Break Away". (Sorry, that's the way he said it.)
After Candace blew the roof, doors and windows off the place, this seems extremely weak. I think it would be weak regardless. Like drunk 2am Karoke.

Minaj: I like that you look like Ricky Ricardo tonight. This was probably my least favorite from you, babe. You seem very nervous. Go back to being confident.
Randy: Pitch was a little all over the place. That song was way too big for you (it was) Not the right choice.
Mariah: I think a lot of people are falling in love with the courage you have. So much vulnerability. I understand what that feels like, to overcome obstacles. (didn't like the song choice either) Keep doing what you're doing. We feel you.
