The Republicans Are Officially DEAD To Me I Am Registering Independent Tomorrow
OV

Ever since the election I have been sitting back to watch what happens during the lame duck session of Congress. I have already accepted the sad fact that the Republicans where not going to do anything about all the illegal activity that took place on election day. I even begrudgingly accept the fact that they will never bring up charges of impeachment against Obama. However, for them to be so afraid of him as too give into this farce of a deal is too much for me to accept.
We all agree that America is no longer the country we grew up to love, fight for, and respect. Heck, every January 1st there are hundreds of thousands of new laws on the books that take a little more of our rights away. Sadly, while telling us to keep the faith because they will stand in the breach to keep us free, the Republican party continually does the opposite by making deals with the Democrats. The Republicans have their DNA all over the very laws they tell us they will stand against, and this fiscal cliff deal is just one more example of their many broken promises.
In my 15 years here, I have done my share of debating many fellow FReepers who thought we should abandon the Republican party. My argument has always been on the side that a third party vote, or even a non vote would only help the Democrats. Well this latest broken promise is the last straw for me. No more. From here on out I will argue for and support a third party.
It is time, hell it's way past time for a revolution that will lead to the replacement of the Republican party.
First thing tomorrow I will officially leave the Republican party.

The 151 Republicans who voted NO will miss your vote for them in the primaries, but the 85 Republicans who voted YES applaud you as it means one less vote against them in the primaries where it really counts.

I don't blame you. I have the same opinion of the RNC, and the party as a whole. As I see it the only way it can be fixed is from the ground up. I have been involved in the county party organization, for years. I have beat my head against the wall many times.
More, and more people are seeing the light, I have convincet some fellow Tea Party members to get involved in the County Republican Central Committee, I am noticing some difference in the attitude in local party members.
If we don't do anything to change things, nothing will change, if we leave the party, those in charge will think that we either don't care, or approve of what is going on. I am not about to let anyone off that easy.

Republicans did as good as they could, in this environment, where a shameful media enables, empowers and emboldens a Marxist president, and demonizes anyone and anything that tries to stand in his way.
Bull crap. All they need to do is vote against anything Obama and the Democratic senate passes and let the shi^@ hit the fan today.
It's always the same, wait, just wait until this or that hits the fan. In the mean time the Republicans keep giving in to the left, and now it's Obama they keep giving in to. When will they hold the line until the left gives in? Just once in my friggen life I would like to see them HOLD! But they never do, and they never will.
They hold the purse, yet they allow Obama to stick his hand in and take what ever he wants because they are afraid of him and the media. Screw the media.
It is time to say no, regardless of what you are called or what lies they tell. Integrity starts with doing the right thing regardless of the lies told about you. The Republican establishment controls the party, and they have no integrity.
So because they cannot stop themselves from dealing with the devil, it's time for us to say no to them. We are beyond the brink, it is now time.

Some people think they are “required” to vote for the GOPe candidate. I’ve never thought that. I don’t vote for liberals no matter the party. Didn’t vote for McCain, didn’t vote for Romney. If Republicans never have another conservative presidential candidate, I won’t ever be voting Republican for president.
I don’t care about the arrows shot at me on this forum because I won’t accept a liberal Republican candidate. Tough cookie, that is just how it is.

The Republicans had one last chance with me and they blew it.
Screw'em.
If those *no votes* meant anything, replace *Boner* and the rest of the leadership with conservatives, if they don't, than it was all pure BS.
I've had enough of Republican BS.

Be constructive. Register as a Democrat. Lol.
The RATS already have you in a database with your address and whether or not you own a firearm and/or a Visa or MasterCard. Screw up their database. Vote in their primaries.
To: Uncle Chip
The 151 Republicans who voted NO will miss your vote for them in the primaries... If you were watching, lots of those *NO* votes came in after the bill was passed..............Spineless bastards is what I call them.

0 on Obamacare. No Republican voted for that.
Democrats have always had the media which is the most powerful part.
who created 99% of this government/tyranny we have: Democrat congresses did.
Your bogey man is the GOP. you don’t see the marxists/democrats taking away your individual rights while at the same time growing government . it’s all they do and have done for 100 years.
good and fine you want to destroy the GOP . good when will you want to destroy the democrat party?

The Republican Party is already split up, conservatives are not welcomed but keep showing up until they get a new lock. Amen to that.

Make sure you can still vote the Republican primaries which is very important for 2014.

Until the GOP understands that the MSM will never be their friend, the GOP will continue caving into whatever the left wants. The conservatives be damned.
Rush told them back in 1993, when they called themselves the Ditto-head caucus, "Do NOT expect the media to like you, they never will. Do what you got elected to do".
But did they listen? NOOOOO! They decided it was better to be loved by the beltway media than liked by those who brought them to the dance.
Well, 20 years later I am saying, "Goodbye, Republicans", it was grand until Reagan retired, but since then it has been one heart ache after another.
