Do you remember the Get Smart episode with the Concert Pianist? He refused to shake hands with anyone because he was a piano player. If you extended a hand to him he would recoil and scream:
“DON’T TOUCH MY HANDS!!!!!!!”
That line has become a family joke. :-)
Manuel Gonzalez was the first rescue worker to reach the 33 miners trapped for 69 days in a Chilean mine explosion in 2010. At great risk to his own life, he went underground more than 2,000 feet to bring the trapped men back to the surface. The world watched in amazement as one by one each miner was rescued and transported to freedom.
The Bible tells us of an even more amazing rescue. Because of Adam and Eves disobedience, all of mankind is trapped in sin (Gen. 2:17; 3:6,19; Rom. 5:12). Unable to break free, everyone faces certain deathphysically and eternally. But God has provided a RescuerJesus Christ, the Son of God. Everyone who accepts the free gift of salvation offered through His death and resurrection is freed from sins grip and its resulting death penalty (Rom. 5:8-11; 10:9-11; Eph. 2:1-10).
Jesus Christ is the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep (1 Cor. 15:20). He was the first to be raised from the dead, never to die again. Likewise, all will be given life who put their faith in Christ (Rom. 8:11).
Are you still trapped in your sins? Accept Jesus gift of salvation and enjoy the freedom of life in Christ and eternity with Him (Acts 16:31; Eph. 2:1; Col. 2:13).
Read: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 20-25
There are times I can close my eyes and not know if it is Tennessee Ernie or George Beverly Shea singing these songs, their voices are so similar in tenor.

Morning Meg. We were in Spring mode till winter came back today. Wind, snow and cold. I want Spring.
We have been warm..though it has turned colder..How can I complain about highs in the 60s and 70s in January!
I am enjoying it while it lasts.
We have have high winds..but it’s much calmer today.
Hope you can stay warm and have a good snow blower.
;o)
There were some very damaging winds and tornadoes in Tenn. and Ga. last night, and continuing today. Hope and pray all our friends are safe, and will be protected.
Thursday already!
We’ll be enjoying 10 below zero tonight in southern WI.
High of 7 above today. (woo hoo)
I thank God that I have shelter and food and other blessings, like Amy’s Place.
Cheers
That is LOVELY!
I wonder where that house is located. It looks like the Caribbean.
I have a small plow which works very well. I couldn’t complain about those temps either. I would welcome it here for sure.

I hope all are safe, too..I googled Bristol news and couldn’t find any bad news. High winds can knock out power and the internet. Looks like they have had rain, snow flurries ,and more to come.
I’m thankful you have other blessings, too..BRrrr
IIRC..It is the Caribbean..
Thank you, (((ML)))
;o)
Lovely, LUV
The main thing here is it is toooo cold. I haven’t gotten my thermostat at a comfortable number yet. Still have on night clothes and robe. I drank some juice and ate cereal and also took a nap to get warm. My temperature is supposed to tell me its 32 but it sure feels colder! We do have some winds and that makes it colder.
I see where people live in degrees way below zero and I don’t think I could stand it.
Thank you for thinking of me and I hope all of you are comfortable and warm. I hope Spring gets here sooner than expected. I don’t think I’ll feel good again until I can go out on the patio and sit down again and hear the birds singing.
I’m going to get dressed now into something warm and comfortable. I think I’ll put on my leg warmers over my slacks ‘cause they look so cute......NOT! They do keep you warm though and thats what I’m interested in at this moment.
((((((((HUGS)))))))) TO ALL!!
Dress for success in layers to stay warm.
;o)
Who will see you? Dress in whatever makes you comfortable..
It’s gone from low thirties to 63 here..No complaints and the sun shines.
Glad you are safe.
((((((HUGS))))))
I thought so.
The sea seems (to me anyway!) a slightly different color in the Caribbean than the Pacific.
