A Florida woman is still recovering from the insult at finding a valet ticket that described her as fat.
Sharyn Peoples used a valet when she was in Boca Raton in early December to park at a local mall while she appeared at a play but when she picked up her car she found the ticket identifying the driver with the words 'play,' 'red dress' and 'fat.'
'I was mortified,' she told WTVJ. 'In handwriting it said 'play, red dress, and fat' on it.'
Peoples said she found the description insulting and shocking and she contacted LAZ Parking of Florida, the valet company.
'It's only words and it's from some kid, and that's one of the things the guy said to me on the phone. He said, "You know, we employ 18- and 20-year-old kids." I said, "Sir, they're legally adults,"' she told the local news station about her conversation with the company.
Shortly thereafter, the woman said a representative from the parking company sent her an email, apologizing for the incident.
'Please accept our sincerest apologies,' the message said, adding that the company will inform its drivers to no longer refer to customers' physical appearance on tickets.
'This type of situation will never occur again,' the company assured her.

They are going to stop using physical descriptions to ID car owners? Sure, that's going to work out well. Lets have a 10-minute, 12-step process to make sure its their car. That won't slow them down one bit.
Many people in this country have far too must self-esteem. I guess she would have rather been told "I'm sorry, we gave it to another gender-neutral person in a red dress"
Far too often, I encounter no civility and no honesty. At least this woman encountered honesty. In baseball terms, she's batting .500.

Well, was it an accurate description, or not?
If all fat people start falling into a swoon everytime anyone notices, we’ll have a real mess on our hands.
They do the same at restaurants where service is split between food and drinks.
Did the car make her look fat?
Not fat nor terribly guilty either. Considering alot of older women are not nearly as fat as younger ones, these guys got alot of cajones.

First of all she was not fat. Even if she was that is still not nice. IF they wanted to ID her they could have taken that thing off her drivers license. I believe that is called a license number? I mean I know these people are most likely illegals with a third grade education but could even they think for just once?
I’d say I meant to write “fart” on the ticket.
So now we all know she’s fat .... Much better to tell all who didn’t read the valet ticket.
Wonder if the valet meant Phat and just couldn’t spell ...lol !
