According to the girl's parents, Narvaez was caught 'in the act' when the teen's mother walked into her room for a late-night check-up.
The unnamed woman told KHOU 11 that when she turned on the light in the bedroom, the startled 21-year-old man tried to flee, but she informed him that he's not going anywhere.
The woman alerted her husband, the girl's stepfather, who rushed to her aid and put the suspected child molester in a headlock until police arrived.

No, Texas doesn’t stand ready to give the perp in-state tuition rates to college.
First of all he’s in trouble with the law. Seriously.
Second of all, there’s no information provided here that the perp meets the requirements of the law that provides such rates. There are specific requirements that must be met. Such as, living in TX with a parent or guardian for three years of high school and graduating from high school. A one yr residency requirement immediately prior to the date of application to college. Providing a signed affadavit that as soon as possible to do so the person will attempt to gain permanent residency status.

When there is no utility in the law, it is useless to rely on it. The girl is a minor, she has no authority over her parents, de facto, he wasn't welcome in the home. There is a good chance that I would have beaten the perv unconcious before calling the police. Or should I just shoot, shovel, and and shut up?
I'm well aware that prosecutors choose cases on ease of prosecution, but that isn't the same thing as the law.
Age wise this is an exact copy of the life of Loretta Lynn.

If you have ever had a 15 year old daughter you should know that they are naive and easily fooled by the lies that ‘boys’ and ‘men’ tell them. This adult make who was already ILLEGAL should be shot as far as I am concerned.
