BUENOS AIRES -- Actor Sean Penn made a surprise appearance yesterday in Bolivia as he attended a candlelight vigil for the health of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who is currently in Cuba undergoing his fourth cancer surgery.
The event attracted Chavez supporters as well as Bolivian officials, and took place in a diplomatic location in La Paz. Penn joined Venezuelan ambassador Crisbeylee Gonzalez and took the stage wearing a Venezuelan flag jacket, according to a report by EFE.
Thank you, Sean, said Gonzalez, for joining us and for wanting to be here. We know President Chavez is a good friend of yours, and you didnt hesitate one second about coming here with us to this vigil."
Hes one of the most important forces weve had on this planet, said Penn. And Ill wish him nothing but that great strength he has shown over and over again. I do it in love, and I do it in gratitude.
I just want to say, from my very American point of view, of my friend President Chavez: It is only possible to be so inspiring as he is, as a two-way street. And he would say that his inspiration is the people.

Is this one of those parodies? or is he Mentally ill?
Maybe Penn should just stay down there.
Like father, like son......
Where’s a barf bag when one is needed? I need one right about now.
I used to like Robin Wright, especially after Princess Bride.
But her taste in men is abominable. And so, her taste in political activism.
Bleah, to them both.
Boo!!!
His “very American point of view.”??????????
WHAT?????
Maybe he meant SOUTH American. Yeah. That’s the ticket.
Right Sean. He was an "important force" to turn a once vibrant Venezuela into a communist nightmare, just as ALL communes work out. Show me one that worked. Double-dog dare you...haha.
I just want to say, from my very American point of view, of my friend President Chavez: It is only possible to be so inspiring as he is, as a two-way street. And he would say that his inspiration is the people.
Okay then. Thinking you should chip in for his next operation. No? you say? Because he is the leader and has the assets? And why does he have the money to go to Cuba for all these procedures where his own people are left to their lousy health-care system at home? Why is that, you ever-loving f*cking communist dipshit?
Ever wonder about the truly "poor" of Venezuela, Mister-socialist-loving-Chavez-worshipping dipshit? Ever wonder why their health-care is so bad? Of course not. You got your photo taken with a Lenin wannabe. Bet you were in one of the loser communes in the 60's or 70's that always fell apart.
Penn, you think you're such a bad ass and all that because you pretend in movies and a quasi-celebrity. I know simple men who have done nothing but worked for minimum all their lives and proud of it who would love to kick you stupid ignorant ass into the next century. Eat sh*t and live.
Does anyone really GAS what that little commie creep does or says?
Begging the question, can a wise or godly man embrace socialism?

I’ll bet that sulphur smell is getting stronger
I never like “The Princess Bride”. I know a lot of people do. The only Robin Wright movie I liked was Forrest Gump. That was an incredibly great movie. We all make mistakes. At least she is not down there joining him.
Sean Penn did not turn into a POS yesterday. He has been one for a long time.
I am so touched that such an important and busy person as Mr. Penn would go out of his way to express such concern for a murderous thug dictator. (redundant) So, what is the moral calculation being made here?
I care a lot more about the health of all those whose lives Hugo the Hun has destroyed. As for SP, he’s a lost cause.
