Police in New York state said a man shot his girlfriend during a fight about whether a zombie outbreak as seen on AMC's "The Walking Dead" could actually occur.
Nassau County Detective Lt. Raymond Cote said Jared Gurman, 26, argued via text messages with his girlfriend, Jessica Gelderman, 27, just after 2:30 a.m. Monday about the possibility of a zombie apocalypse as depicted on the AMC series, WNBC-TV, New York, reported Wednesday.
"He feels strongly about the possibility that some military mishap could occur. She thinks it's ridiculous," ABC News quoted Cote as saying. "She was not taking him seriously or taking the show as seriously as he does."
Cote said Gelderman became worried about Gurman as the argument became heated and decided to go to his Williston Park home to calm him down,the report said.
Gelderman attempted to talk to Gurman and enter his home, but he shot her in the back with a .22-caliber rifle, police said.
Gurman drove Gelderman to the hospital, where she was treated for a shattered rib, a pierced lung and a pierced diaphragm.
Gurman was charged with attempted murder.
Maybe if “Bath Salts” are dumped into our water systems........
People no longer have to grow up. That is where our welfare state and pop culture has brought this world.
I certainly hope their relationship is over.
I bet her boyfriend would become one of the first entitlement zombies

Every relationship has it's up and downs. A little something like getting shot in the back shouldn't set their relationship back too far. ;)

I saw this “story” about a new zombie virus on “alternative” news in internet kooksville.
The DHS’s crazy zombie emergency police exercises fed the fear. Instead of just conducting their riot police exercises honestly (in preparation for an economic collapse), DHS got cute playing like the “enemy” in the trainings were zombies and not angry, desparate Americans.
I wonder if he was drunk or on pills. Hard to believe a person would shoot over something like that if he wasn’t in an “altered” state.
I recently went to one of those evil gun shows, someone wss selling Zombie practice targets...

A critical mass of stupid seems to have engulfed America after years of watching the idiot box and dumbed down public education.
People that believe zombies are a real possibility are the same people that vote for Zero and his marxist buddies. And when it all collapses they will be the same ones wondering around the streets like zombies not knowing how to manage without the welfare state.

Several months ago I saw one of the bullet manufacturers selling Zombie bullets. My only question was how did they know these type would be more effective than the normal run of the mill variety? What aren't the telling us?
I defy you to either walk into Walmart or out of some of the dives I hung out at in my youth at 2:30 am and tell me that zombies don't exist.
