The maelstrom of political controversy regarding Free Republic founder Jim Robinson and his attitude towards the then Republican presidential candidate front runner and odds-on favorite to win the nomination, as anointed by the msm as the weakest candidate in the Repuplican field, was one punctuated by severe criticism of Mr. Robinson for his uncompromising, vituperative take-no-prisoners stance towards the liberal bent, RINO candidate Mr. Romney,as unacceptable under any circumstances as Republican Party nominee in the 2012 presidential election.
While his intensely vociferous stance against Mr. Romney surprised, confused, alienated many, the political rationale for the utter blanket rejection of Mr. Romney as candidate was one that remained fundamentally true to the principles of Conservatism, in that Mr.Romney in his record of being a liberal-bent, RINO, had not earned the right to wear the crown as Repubican party nominee as champion, defender of party principles, when he espouses liberal policies that true Republican conservatives find particularly galling equally unacceptable.
In the end, months after the controversy had died down, the election of 2012 having ended, it comes as no surprise to have ended in the manner in which Mr. Robinson did all that he could and more, the sagacity and prescience in which he had already determined the outcome to the election is one in which should teach us all not to repeat the mistakes of the past and to heed those we have faith and admiration for in their reading of the political map and and its various minefields.
Mega dittos! Romney was a waste from the word go.
Yes, there is more wisdom here than the entire GOP. Thank God for Jim.
It Should have read:Congratulations to Jim Robinson for His Political Sagacity,Wisdom Having Overwhelmingly Accurate.

Ping.
Republican voters didn't show and some of those were Freepers motivated by the Mormon issue.
We know the GOTV Orca system failed on election day. We know voters blame Bush more than Obama for the economy.
None of the other candidates who ran would've beaten Obama.
After all the Republican Party has made it clear over the last few election cycles that they really don't care what conservatives have to say or what they want in their political representatives.
Maybe it is conservative Republicans that are so In Name Only.
wow
JR is always accurate!

If it weren’t for vote fraud, Mitt would be President-elect.
The fraud will be 10x worse next time, IMO.
I’d like to congratulate Jim, too. This elite site is one of a kind and I’ve enjoyed it for a very long time.Mi really wanted to belong. I was a Rick Perry supporter and then a Mitt Romney enthusiast. These two fine men have achieved more in their life time than any thousand men. The two don’t even agree with each other but I found enough strength in them to bring me to their causes. I don’t have enough in common with most of the members of FReeRepublic to continue. I wanted to leave with an understanding of that rather than in anger. Now that I see all the voter fraud being exposed, i think Governor Romney never had a shot no matter how many of you stayed home. I don’t see what anyone won allowing Obama to regain the White House. I’ve found a few places to go where I’ll be comfortable but there will never be another FReeRepublic. I wish all, well, most , peace.
No need for congratulations. Believe me I’m not happy at all about the results. And there was no sagacity about it. It was just commonsense that a man with Mitt’s liberal leanings would not energize the grassroots to turnout in large enough numbers to overcome Obama’s vast corrupt democrat socialist machine.
This man should never have been our nominee:

If we want to win, we should not run RINOS!!
Paraphrasing Ann Coulter, “electable” gave us Dole, McCain and Romney. Voting for the “unelectable crazy conservative” gave us Reagan!
I can’t think of one candidate who could have beaten the fraud, the lies, the protection by the media, the racism, the unions, the illegals, the takers, the young indoctrinated by their liberal professors, etc. etc.
I honestly don’t know who could have done it.
Saw a commercial in FL in which Mitt was touting that he wanted to get jobs for people, not food stamps. Had to wonder how many food stamp people really want jobs.
