What is everyone hearing around the office regarding the election? I mean, particularly among liberals and independents. We all obviously know what conservatives are saying.
At my office, I've noticed the liberals are very quiet (except when whispering among themselves), and the independents hate Obama.
Ha! I understand that.
I believe the mission objective of retaking the Senate to be critical to the long term health of America, even more so than removing Obama from power. Harry Reid has done tremendous damage to the United States, and gridlock would curtail most of the nonsense that he has done. 2008 with supermajorities for the democrats was an enormous disaster, but we got through that. Now we have to claw back their Senate advantages.
If the Republicans gain the Senate, it will take a long time for the Democrats to erode this back. Do you want to score a point or cripple the Democrats for the next 20 years?
Oh I almost forgot. There may be two scotus judges retiring in the next four years. If obama gets to appoint them, then there every chance in the world we will lose many more Constitutional rights. If Romney is to appoint, it is possible we may have stricter abortion laws. Obama goes around congress with ex-orders, so voting straight ticket sans Romney isn’t enough.
I do know what you mean. I just said to a friend that I want this all to be over. I stay in angry mode these days.
Retired military and drawing social security and VA disability is definitely not one of the leaches that Romney spoke of. You earned what you are receiving. Thank you.

Unless we lose Scalia the balance won’t change. Roberts flipping on the Obamacare ruling was a devastating loss for us. :(

I think it was strategic. He knows what is at stake if Obama wins again. His flipping helped to energize the base, and to motivate some fence sitters.
These pussies like Reid, Bohner, Pelosi, Graham, et. al. have been bought, paid for and used because they are after self gain only...sadly, most don't actually believe this country can be defeated...they just want the money.
Even more sadly they don't realize they sold out only to face the Night of the Long Knife. They were just useful idiots and will be the first to be disposed of by this renewed administration in 2013.

The one ponytail lib in the office hasn’t put an Obama bumper sticker on his car yet, though he had a 2008 sticker way back when. Nobody is swooning at the TV in the breakroom when Obama’s on anymore. On Inauguration Day, lots of folks were in the breakroom watching with big smiles on their faces. Those same faces were pretty crestfallen when Obamamcare passed. And people have been disappointed since.
I have a feeling they're just like the Clintons. They'll NEVER be gone -- especially considering the love fest they have with the LSM.
Where I work 65% are Indian Nationals (Information Technology). In the parking lot I only see 1 car with moonbat bumper stickers.
You'd think so, huh? I'll bet her pastor winked at that, too.
My employer, a defense contractor, ignored the Obama White House order and Lockheed’s lead and went ahead and informed people of layoffs. It’s not a mass notice to the public, but was to employees. Don’t know how many or who yet, but they did say so.
My company has been pushing itself further into the political correctness arena, proud of LBGTA scores and diversity ratings by the feds. Service to the customer was secondary. Let’s say lots of attrition of conservatives in this environment, and many liberals stayed or hired.
The remaining conservatives already disliked Obama and now despise him. The liberals were thrilled at him, with many blacks putting up pictures of him like Jesus icons. Now it is muttering or hatred, depending on whether you hate the lack of a raise or found out you are losing your job.
So, why bother to post, then??

I had a similar discussion with an older lady like 80+ years old and still working. She hates Romney, is a Democrat, but in two minutes I had her arguing like a rabid FReeper. I told her that her arguments sound like extreme right wing arguments. She finally decided to not vote. I said "Good! You shouldn't!"
Around my office, the right wingers are normal, and if there are any leftists, they don't make a peep.
