As a dog owner I truly hope Vick has realized what a horrific thing he did to those dogs...people change..i hope he has..but, I think the humane Society, or some group should check on his pet from time to time to make sure it’s cared for...
So what did he get?

A dog can be one of the very best teachers, who can show you yourself better than most skilled psychotherapists.
If he has not already, perhaps, with his family's love and example, he will learn what so many others understand.
Vick should NEVER be allowed to own a dog again with his history of dog fighting.

Mr. Vick has also paid a huge price for his conviction and paid his debt to society. I therefore have no problem with him being a dog owner. If God can forgive him, we should as well, especially those of us who also know and procaliam Christ as savior.
“Ron Mexico” better not try to pick up his dog, or he’ll fumble it like he does everything else.
But if the dog ever turns on him, he won’t need to worry — the refs will just throw a flag for ‘unnecessary roughness’ like they do every time he’s touched.
I thought he was never allowed to own dogs again.
The guy served his time, lost boat loads of money, paid the price for his sins...
It’s not like he murdered children or raped nuns ....
Not condoning his actions , but give it a rest...
Why should his children not enjoy a dog....?
This guy is atotal s.o.b. He belongs in a cage or 6 feet under. The only thing worse than him are the “fans” who support him and his team.
He should never be allowed to have another animal. Anyone who did the depraved and evil things he did to innocent creatures should not be given a second chance.
This guy should have been Pit bait. (& that should be the standard punishment for every person convicted of dog fighting. Because I think it might stop some people before they start)
