Oh, I don’t really get mad, but she has heard the word “NO!” often! She IS a little doll, and now loves to get a tummy rub. Two weeks ago, she wouldn’t even think of being still for 30 seconds, unless she was sleeping!
She immediately ‘goes’ when I say “Go Potty, Shanah”. (Unless she sees a stick or pine cone that distracts her from doing her job.) Yesterday - not ONE accident. All the potties were done outside!

This puppy talk reminds me, last Saturday night we had on Animal Planet to see a show called “Too Cute!”. It followed 3 litters of puppies from birth to adoptable age. The show really was cute and my husband even enjoyed it. No politics on that show! Yea!

“Pomeranian puppy taunts tolerant adult doberman”
LTOS-pinged you to this because of the lovely doberman with a rose picture, which reminds me of the 2 black dobes I’ve had. I have a red and rust one now. We leave the ears natural like the one in the picture. I love it when people ask “what kind of dog that is”, they don’t know if the ears are long. LOL.
cheers

GOOD MILITARY MONDAY TO AMYS PLACE!

The Soldiers Code
1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.
3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.
5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.
6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!
Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Isn’t that a lovely Picture? It’s not mine, but was sent to ME on this very thread, and I saved it.
Linda-the-Dog is actually a Lab/Chow, but she bears a similar thoughtful expression!
Thanks for the ping! :-)

No More; No Less
October 16, 2012
Recently I was reading about how easy it is to mishandle the message of the Bible. We may try to make it support what we already believe is true instead of allowing it to speak to us with Gods intended message. Some people use the Bible to defend one side of an issue, while others use the Bible to attack that same issue. Both quote Scripture to support their views, but both cant be right.
It is important as we use Gods Word that we are committed to saying no more and no less than the Scriptures actually say. If we mishandle the Word, we misrepresent it, which ultimately misrepresents Gods character. This is why Paul challenged Timothy, Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15). A key priority for unashamed, approved workers for Christ is to accurately interpret (rightly divide) Gods Word. As we study, we can depend on the Spirit, who inspired it, to give us understanding and wisdom.
Through our words and actions, we have opportunity to represent Gods Word in ways that genuinely reflect Gods heart. That is one of the greatest privileges of the Christian life.
Father, thank You for giving us Your Word to guide
our lives. May we give it the serious care and
handling it so richly deserves, and may we live it
out daily through our actions and attitudes. Amen.
Gods Word handle with care.

I saved that picture to my desktop. It so reminds me of my black dobermans. Sure miss them both.

Well.....
I recently lost my home, and being a widow and a senior citizen, I applied to PURCHASE a double-wide in a senior community. They told me I had to get rid of linda-the-dog because she is OVER 35 Pounds.
I told them where they could shove their double-wide.
