Thanks very much, Yorkie! They are seven weeks old now - we have takers for four of the five kittens. They'll be going to their new homes in about two weeks.

Wish I could have knocked on your front door,
and surprised you with a bushel full
of freshly picked sweet peas!!!
(and my puppy tucked neatly inside for you to tend to
until she is 8 months old and housebroken!
Just kidding, of course - I adore her!)

Thanks for posting this video about the Coal Miners in Ohio going National - calling Obama a liar for saying the coal miners were FORCED to go to the Romney Rally today, in Bellsville, Ohio! 500 signatures of men who swore they went because they support Romney, and called out the Media and Obama for their lies, and lack of support for this important industry.

This video should be sent with yours, Teenie. (BTW - Tennessee Ernie Ford passed away in 1991, and this is one his last performances singing this):

Meg, every night, before I put Shanah in her little kennel for the night, I let her romp on my bed, and snuggle me and the pillows for a few minutes. She gets so excited when I pick her up, and tell her it is time for beddie-bye.

So, last night, I locked the doors, turned off all the lights, and took her to my room, and she was so excited to be on ‘mommy’s bed’! I took off my shoes and robe, and as I was hanging up my robe, she DOVE off the bed, grabbed one of my shoes, and took off, out of my room, and down the hall!

It was pitch black, and I couldn’t see anything without turning on all the lights again, and then trying to catch her (the whole while, little needle marks are digging into the leather of my shoe!)

After about ten minutes, I finally caught her, and put her immediately into her kennel, and collapsed on my bed! (Then, this morning, she started barking to “go potty” at 4:45 am!) Pitch black outside.

Ya think I bit off more than I could chew? :)
