I don’t want a captain who thinks any day is a good day to die.

Not Worf—it’s Woof. Ask Lwaxana Troi.

There was a short lived, but highly rated cartoon called Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys, that used the voice talent of both Michael Dorn and Jerry Doyle of Babylon 5.
Unfortunately, most people didn’t look past the premise of the show to see the rather good science fiction within.
Likewise, when it was finally put out on DVD, the quality was awful, poorly designed and with no extras. The cheapest possible job, which is a pity for a series that could have been something of a cult favorite, like the spinoff Star Trek, the Animated Series, which had good enough writing to be considered canon to the series, by many.

worf never became captain ... he ended up on an outpost somewhere
of course, this will just be another play on the black-man-as-leader motif they’ve been shoving down out throats since before 2008

Always liked Worf. He was more Spartan than Klingon.

Just saw Dorn in a commercial during the football game (don’t remember what it was for). He looked really OLD.

Was he finally able to get a McDLT? It’s a regional thing. / Family Guy reference.

If given a choice, my preference would be to keep anything Trek-related on the shelf and move forward with that really cool, proposed, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century series that never made it past the teaser/trailer stage.
For those who haven't seen,
Teaser is here
Then, after having watched that, watch the
3-minute trailer
