Some hits and misses, IMHO. The list is alost exclusively sports cars and seems to not sewriously consider any others. But if we limit it to sports cars, how could they leave these three beauties off the list?

The Mark II may not qualify as a sports car, but it sure is gorgeous. Certainly such lists are of interest and never definitive.

Bugatti

1956 lincoln continental mark ii

1938 Talbot Lago 130 C

The Jaguar XKE has to be one of them. Probably won’t be listed as there were so many made.

When I was growing up in the early 60s there was an old man, a rich old man, who drove one of those Mercedes sports cars around town.

I doubt if he ever got it over 50. He typically cruised around at maybe 30mph.

Have to disagree on the Porsche and the Challenger. Not that weren’t great cars and attractive, but top 10? Sorry.

I’d even say the DB and the GT40 don’t belong in terms of pure beauty. Top 100? Maybe.

And nothing from the 30s? Like the late 30s MB 500k just to name one?

Maybe because it takes me back to my early 20's when life was good, and before GM became a government-run entity, but the 1965 Pontiac Catalina always appealed to me:

Recently sold my 65 Bonneville convertible. Very similar vehicles. Loved it.

I would take the current Austen Martin DB-9

over most anything on that list.

Or the original Lincoln Zephyr.

Indeed. The author was confusing beauty with performance.

Some of those cars were beautiful. Some were performance only. Some were both and some were just OK.
