Interesting HDR (High Dynamic Range) pic. I like the artifact of the guy on the right side.
A mechanic I knew in Iowa City picked up a ‘66 Ferrari 330 coupe for small money and was chagrined when he found it had Lucas electrics.
For me it was the early 80s 300ZX that was the prettiest of the series..but then I was in love with the 66 Corvette Stingray too.
Don't forget the classic car from Southside Chicago...
Ahh, yes the Syrena, the height of Polish Communist Technology.
You’ll burn for this... LMAO!!!!
I told him that I thought it looked like a sneaker.
Had serial #2138, bought new. Pukey nonmetallic gold color. Dealer-added alloy wheels, the ones with bean-shaped holes.
Datsun dealer installed an aftermarket A/C system in it—first 240 A/C done in Phoenix; what a mechanical and functional mess!
Used to run out to LA, driving not by the speedometer, but by the temperature gauge.
Learned some serious driving in it (not just the Highschool driver training stuff). But it was really costly—to the machine, that is.
These days, everyone's talking about the Hyundai, and the Yugo. Both nice cars, if you've got $3,000 or $4,000 to throw around. But, for those of us whose name doesn't happen to be Rockefeller, finally there's some good news - a car with a sticker price of $179. That's right, $179. The name of the car?
Adobe. The sassy new Mexican import that's made out of clay. German engineering and Mexican know-how helped create the first car to break the $200 barrier. At this price, you might not expect more than reliable transportation - but, brother, you get it! Extra features: like the custom contour seats, or the beverage-gripping dash. And the money you save isn't exactly small change!
"Hey, hey, we're Adobe!
The little car that's made out of clay!
We're gonna save you some money
that you can spend in some other way!
Hey, hey, we're Adobe!
Hey, hey, we're Adobe!
Adobe!"
Adobe. You can buy a cheaper car. But I wouldn't recommend it!

“I am shocked that bad boy did not crack the list!
Yeah. The air intake really sets that model apart!

Owned one. Green with the white cordoba top. Traded it in on the 69 Trans-Am when it came out. But of course I foolishly sold the 69 after 15 years of racing and car shows. Worst mistake I made in 60 some years. That and the car I posted later on in this thread.
On the list I’d put the Cords from the late thirties. Smooth lines without looking like a worn out bar of soap.
And most of the junk today is ugly, mean and cheap plastic looking.
