It's been two months since Jessica Simpson gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, and yet, according to fitness experts, she still looks to be at least 182 lbs. For a woman whose body has been a major part of her success, Jessica is traumatized by her surplus size. And friends say she has reached a breaking point in her struggle to lose the baby weight.
While no new mom should be expected to be superslim so soon after giving birth, Jessica, 32, is actually getting paid to the tune of a reported $4 million to shed 70 lbs. within a year: She inked a deal with Weight Watchers while she was expecting.
"Jess ate her way through the pregnancy, gorging on all her favorite junk foods," a friend says. "She just assumed, wrongly, she now realizes, that the weight would peel off. But it's not happening. She is freaking out."
Jessica's postbaby weight-loss routine includes regular workouts with trainer to the stars Harley Pasternak at Bodiworx Health & Fitness in Los Angeles as well as dieting. But friends say she's having trouble committing to both. After ballooning to more than 200 lbs. at the end of her pregnancy, she's finding the whole experience exhausting and ineffective.

I’ll second that...WTH?!? Did she eat the entire maternity ward, including the afterbirths?
“WIDE LOAD”
Apparently, none of the men here have ever heard of a woman getting married, having a baby, and gaining 50 pounds. My cousin calls a wedding ring the 40-pound ring, it’s amazing that when they get a divorce and are ‘looking’, those 40 come right back off.
She's getting $4 million from WW to lose it. Not a bad tradeoff I'd say.
I don’t know a woman that has ever got that big while pregnant. And that includes teenagers through women 35+ years old.
Either Simpson has an ongoing medical situation, which is entirely possible, or is a big fat slob.
As far as the ring goes, that’s another sad indicator of the collapse on American society. And another reason why I’d never marry in the USA.
This was all a setup.
She’s getting 4 million bucks from WW.
Gotta pack on some easy to lose pounds to make the story better, no?
“Gotta pack on some easy to lose pounds to make the story better, no?”
If she’s getting $4 million...I’ll do it for $2 million...
Not too long ago, Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, one of her former lovers, was lucky not to have been sacked by her on his own 10-yard line.
Leni
YIKES!
Like I said, no idea who that is.....
It doesn’t matter, she’s really hot.
Yep, not a bad deal.
I knew she got tubby but not that tubby. That’s obese and unhealthy.
Babe, lay off the ice cream.
“Thats obese and unhealthy.”
That’s what I’m saying.
That’s a whale of a whale tail, for sure...
And it’s shame, because she was a hottie...
At the rate she’s going, she’ll keel over dead before she gets any Weight Watchers ca$h...
You know, in a way it’s kind of sad...
Her entire fame personae came from the fact that she was a very hot-looking “babe”. Singing talent, negligible; ditto for acting talent. She “made it” on her Bod and curves, pretty much, IMHO.
Now it’s kind of gone (probably temporarily), but Hollywood is a harsh Narcissistic mistress...that’s got to play hell with her mental state.
And that’s kind of the problem with the Hollyweird crowd...they live in Fantasy Land, like eternal petulant adolescents, and when reality comes along (in the shape of a round, fat ass in this case) - bam!. Can’t deal with it.
Kirstie Alley is another one who blew up like a Bob Evans Down on the Farm Sausage link...She seems to have dealt with it better though.
“And thats kind of the problem with the Hollyweird crowd...they live in Fantasy Land...”
AMEN to that! The drugs, drinking, smoking, etc...it kills them off. But they think they’re indestructible.
You know what Hale, I forgot she was even a singer. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard one of her songs. LOL.
