It's been two months since Jessica Simpson gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, and yet, according to fitness experts, she still looks to be at least 182 lbs. For a woman whose body has been a major part of her success, Jessica is traumatized by her surplus size. And friends say she has reached a breaking point in her struggle to lose the baby weight.
While no new mom should be expected to be superslim so soon after giving birth, Jessica, 32, is actually getting paid to the tune of a reported $4 million to shed 70 lbs. within a year: She inked a deal with Weight Watchers while she was expecting.
"Jess ate her way through the pregnancy, gorging on all her favorite junk foods," a friend says. "She just assumed, wrongly, she now realizes, that the weight would peel off. But it's not happening. She is freaking out."
Jessica's postbaby weight-loss routine includes regular workouts with trainer to the stars Harley Pasternak at Bodiworx Health & Fitness in Los Angeles as well as dieting. But friends say she's having trouble committing to both. After ballooning to more than 200 lbs. at the end of her pregnancy, she's finding the whole experience exhausting and ineffective.

My comment was for your reason to post this at all. Who really cares what Jessica Simpson does or does not do. She could weight 300 lbs what does that have to do with anything on the FreeRepublic site? This info belongs on Doc Phil or wherever, Sheesh!
Yes. So true. Although with women hormones can alter that a bit even making breaking the cycle more difficult. HOWEVER! With all the great doctors (Endocrinologist) that she has at her beck and call their are NO excuses their. Jessica has access to all the right staff to get her back on track in all of her areas. Normally people just have to grin, bare it, and stiff it through the withdrawal.
Posting under General/Chat has many categories.
Even Humor. Oh no..... what a concept !
Lighten Up Francis
She has the finest booty ever!
Yep. Don’t need to drink her purdy. She’s that way in the morning...
I wouldn't charge her more than a million to lose it all.
And I'm better than most trainers - we (I and three trainees) will be going again to the Mr/Mrs Olympia in LV in September this year.
perfect
Not sure who that is, but verrry easy on the eyes.........
Wow so she is having a problem losing weight after having a kid. So feaking what!!! What woman does not have that issure? Jessica is a hot babe over weight or otherwise. Geez people get a grip on reality. This is not in my top 10 ten of issues facing our republic today.
Go Jessica Simpsom overweight or not.
That would be Jessica Biel.
I don’t see a crisis with whoever the lady, if lady she is (she’s not my wife, that’s for shore!), might be, but you, sir, whoever you are, appear to be in crisis.
She’s gonna run out of breath if she does “Go”.
LOL
I think she’s beautiful anyway.
I don’t see a crisis either with “whatshername”. What’s your point? What do fat ladies have anything to do with FreeRepublic?
problem for Jessica is she was always better known for her body than face.. certainly not much talent.. she really ought to think buying a ranch/farm and raise as many kids as she and her future husband want.. she doesn’t ever need to make another dime to live a great life
Easy. She’s not filling her tummy with her already on the bones body weight. Fat people can starve to death, gut shuts down, probably a mess in there already.
I know! LOL
She must have bought into that eating for two crap.
What’s the baby look like?
She should breast feed, that’s what the extra weight is for. The little monster will suck the fat right off her. Keep it up for at least a year and she will have to take in more calories to compensate.
