Oh What A Night ...

Posted on 07/09/2012 11:34:20 AM PDT by Why So Serious

I was pulling my hair out Saturday next door in the neighbor's yard as this bleeding heart liberal democratic lawyer tore me apart in front of his 25 year old son and his friends. They could not believe that I was against Obamacare. One 25 year old kid asked me why I would be against something that is "FREE"? I was on the grass rolling around laughing. After I questioned we discovered that he worked and has a car. I asked him if it was okay to take money from him to by my two sons cars, because they do not work [17 and 18]. He said .. "No, if they want a car let them get jobs and work to buy their own!".

Then some girl chimes in and asks why do I fight it. It is going to happen anyway. Quit stressing over it. I had the great pleasure of saying to her, "God forbid! But if three guys were attempting to rape her, would she fight it?" She said, "Of course! That is a stupid question." To which I said, "Why fight it? If it is going to happen any way why fight it and stress over it?"

I did speak with these two for about an hour and I believe that those two started to see the light, but it was hard beating back the 65 year old bleeding heart liberal lawyer with his drunk theatrics. At one point these two 25 year olds stepped off to the side to hear what I was attempting to say calmly while Wayne was ranting like a hateful Democrats do. What an evening!

My family is throwing me a 70th birthday party/family reunion in Atlanta in a few weeks. My cousin and her husband are from suburban Chicago and are head-banging demonrats. The last time I saw him here in FL, he was telling my how ecstatic he was when he ran into Axelrod in a hardware store in MI. He is a total kool-aid drinker; I’m not too sure about his wife, (my cousin). I had dinner in Palm Beach with another cousin (a very wealthy man) from New Orleans. He is solidly in our camp. My sister, who is one of the hostesses of the party/reunion, said that she is going to issue orders at the door: check your politics and religion at the door!

Subject: Helping poor / Giving money - YOU, or the Government? (Short & sweet)

"It's amazing to me how many people think that voting to have the government give poor people money is compassion. Helping poor and suffering people yourself is compassion. Voting for our government to use guns to give money to help poor and suffering people is immoral self-righteous bullying laziness.

People need to be fed, medicated, educated, clothed, and sheltered. If we're compassionate, we'll help them, but you get no moral credit for forcing other people to do what you think is right. There is great joy in helping people, but no joy in doing it at gunpoint." - Unknown ? -

His fault has wrecked our country, cost us and our kids trillions, exposed them to mainstreamed joys like homosexuality, abortion etc.

And the liberal democrats did this with absolutely no help from Republicans.

Right?

Everyone focuses on the injustice of socalism’s theft.

But for me the worse part of Obamacare is losing control over my own body and my doctor relationship. Having bureaucrats in DC ordering me around and ordering my doctor around, terrifies me. Issuing orders in the name of the collective without regard to the indvidual...

I worked for the government when I was young and when I fled DC, I felt like I was released from brain prision.

I agree with those who refuse to associate with LIBs. It is truly a waste of time to attempt to engage them in a logical conversation. That goes for some family members who have the disease (aka liberalism). Life is too short to be around such angry, self-loathing, empty-minded people.

The welfare state must fail because it is contrary to human nature and diminishes the human spirit.

Words of wisdom. Put another way, Collectivist/Egalitarianism Sabotages Human Potential.

We are beset by compulsion driven neurotics who are determined to repeal reality. The contemporary political climate suggests a new land for Swift's Gulliver to discover.

Until my last breathe I will attempt to change the minds of those that are politically wrong. If I don’t I risk that those people will be busy convincing others that they are right.
