Mitt Romney is the nominee.
And Romney won't have it until after the convention.
/johnny
Sorry but he has it, may not fit your agenda but Romney is the nominee.
Laz... remember the story about the royal advisor that bought himself a year of life by promising to teach the King’s horse to sing?
A lot can happen in four years.
If Mitt selects a Conservative running mate, he might be called home by his maker early, leaving us with a Conservative president. If we put together a strong united defense we might increase our majority in the House and wrest the Senate from the Dems in sufficient numbers that we can damn well MAKE Mitt govern like a Conservative — at the very least we can make sure that he doesn’t push RINOS onto the Supreme Court.
If gridlock develops and if Mitt falters, we have another chance to nominate a Conservative in 2016....
Or maybe the horse will learn to sing and Mitt will actually govern like the Conservative he says he is.
The point is NONE of those things will be possible if Obama is given another four years to destroy America. We need to stop being petulant about not getting our way and think about what is best for the country, our children and our grandchildren.
“How will you proceed from now to election day?”
Vote for conservative Republicans at the state and local levels. There’s a runoff in NC on July 17, so I’ll get a chance to vote between a GOP-e punk and somebody else. I expect the latter will get my vote. I won’t be sending any money to the Romney campaign for sure, and I’ll keep deleting those emails.
Democrats of a feather, flock together.
I am voting for him. Ain’t no way in heck I will miss the chance to vote Obama out.
Romney
Is
Not
Obama
Now, it wouldn't suprise me to see another mid-stream rule change, but he has to have the right number of undisputed delegates, and they do have to vote at the convention before he gets the nomination.
None of that has happened yet.

There's supposed to be a floor vote at the convention to go, unless the GOP changes the rules again.
It ain't over until the fat lady sings.
/johnny
I’m with you.
ABO !
Interesting... Looking back at Clinton’s first election run, his platform was more conservative than what Willard actually has a record of as Governor...
What moron voted for Romney in the primaries?
Romney
Is
McCain
Part 2
Those that talk of a “convention coup” so to speak ignore the people that actually voted in Republican primaries for Romney and made him the republican nominee. And a convention “coup” just strengthens Obama by rejecting votes cast in these primaries and making the GOP look inept. Romney is the nominee. Period. It may be hard to accept but it's the truth. These same people that said “just wait, Romney will never get enough delegates in the primaries” and he got them sooner then expected. Now some of these same people predict a convention coup. Not going to happen.
I will vote Romney over Obama any day.
How do we do it better down the road, friend Cicero?
We've been here long enough so we shoulda figured out by now how to start a Conservative Party, dammit!
Without exception, I always vote - primaries and General Elections, because it is a sacred duty. I am an immigrant to the USA, and this is MY Country.
I wish I could do more, but I'm gettin' old. Stay well ...................................................... FRegards
No, actually, Romney is NOT the nominee until the floor vote at the convention. Why do you think the lame-stream media is holding back on the slime machine?
Unless, of course, the GOP changes rules again mid-stream. And they have done that a lot recently, so I sorta expect it.
I will never vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, big government liberal.
