HACKENSACK — A man who stabbed himself repeatedly in front of police — and then threw his skin and intestines at them — remains in critical condition Tuesday morning, police said.
Police said they got a call at 10 p.m. Sunday from someone saying Wayne Carter, 43, had a knife and was threatening to hurt himself.

The man had threatened to disembowel himself. The cops taunted him; “You don’t have the guts to ty it.”

Gutshot squirrels have been known to unspool their intestines. One theory is that if some of the internal tissue is exposed as a result of the initial wound, the critter thinks it’s some type of parasite and the source of the pain....

My cousin works on the SWAT team that was called in for this. Absolutely sickening. It is amazing what the police have to put up with and then still maintain professional conduct.
