Do you ever get the feeling that Rush and Hannity don't really care who wins, just as long as their dollars keep rolling in from us tea party saps. Besides Mark Levin, what prominent talker has gone out on a limb and endorsed true conservative candidates? Everyday we have to here Hannity interview the John McCains of the world. If he truly believed in the conservative movement, wouldn't he be out there trumpeting Richard Mourdock and Don Stenberg like Levin is?
As for Rush, he is more interested in commercializing the tea party movement with his "Two if by tea" than promoting it.
Besides Mark Levin, they're all sellouts just like the Republican leadership...looking out for their own career over the well being of the country.
Eric Cantor with his support of Richard Lugar and Adam Kinzinger in their primaries is consolidating moderate, establishment support behind his ambition to be speaker some day. But Hannity is more interested in a softball interview with him than evicerating him for his actions.
There are very few leaders in our movement.
I don’t understand why so few here get this.. Rush, Hannity, et al are ENTERTAINERS, they aren’t political leaders. They are there to make themselves $$$ pure and simple and they do it by entertaining... its a gig, nothing more.
No one who’s cashflow is dependent on their audience is going to ruffle the feathers of their audience too badly, they’d be stupid to.
They have staked out the conservative as their audience, so they don’t care if they upset liberals, because they aren’t targeting them anyway, but if they endorce someone they wind up ticking off the part of their audience that likes the other guy. So why the hell would they do it?
Seriously folks, looking for anyone in talk radio for political leadership is beyond foolish. They are there to entertain and cash checks.
Hannity was never about money??? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Wow, folks are gullible.. PT Barnum was right.
From a Catholic dictionary in part: “...The Church has never defined the existence of >limbo, although she has more than once supported the fact by her authority...” Limbo: ...”The abode of souls excluded from the full blessedness of the beatific vision, but not suffering any other punishment. They enjoy the happiness that would have been human destiny if humans had not been elevated to the supernatural order.”...
As to your question, “I don’t recall.” If she has, Rush Limbo will play that segment of her speech on the air. Many people mispronounce Limbaugh. & If they are famous & it’s recorded, Rush Limbo will feature it on his program.
When a comedic parody is created, The Rush Limbaugh staff will often have an exaggerated mispronouncing of ‘Limbaugh’ by the “>Character” in the parody.
Thank you for your reply. This my observation about life in the USA:
1. As a generalization, conservative people are religious & polite.
2. As a generalization, liberal people are irreligious & rude.
Conservatives> can only be successful with a conservative audience if they: ‘have respect for the human dignity of >all people.’
Liberals> can only be successful with a liberal audience if they are: pathological liars, rude, hateful & wish death on other people. (Liberals have such a bad reputation that for the most part they are embarrassed to be called liberals.)
Yes, you’re right.
I’ve listened to Rush from the start. I even shook his hand at Dan’s Bake Sale.
” Rush and Levin and others are very brave. If 0bama is re-elected, there is a chance that their lives could be in danger.”
No joke
Rush is reputedly worth 300 million
Very dangerous days are ahead for all of us. The whole United States has been put in peril.
I see mostly naive, ignorant sheep every day.
” Dans Bake Sale “
A great idea! That was fun.
” Very dangerous days are ahead for all of us. The whole United States has been put in peril.”
Indeed.
Not true. Of the 4 main talk guys, Beck and Levin were fully promoting Bachmann and Santorum very early on. Rush was very complimentary as well of the two. As for calling out Romney for being the worse choice, the three of talkers were also very hard on him even after it was clear Milt was going to be the guy. Hanitty was the only guy who was totally in the tank for Romney with his weak interviews and complacency towards pointing out Romneys weakness. That is to be expected though. He is just in this to get the interviews.
Whining that certain candidates lost because they didn’t get full blown endorsements is silly. Ultimately, it is up to the candidates to make the case themselves to get elected.
I think it was May, 1992. I know we left the place as clean as we found it.
I started listening to Rush when he was just a local guy....around 1988.
LOL I don’t think Rush ever has to worry about going bankrupt.
Not with 300 million, with a good chunk liquid : )
Further comments on Hannity:
He is so predictable, which is why I surmise he has a strong core. I can’t recall him ever changing his position on any important issue. However he is not as intelligent as the other 3 in my post. And he talks too much, interrupts his guests so much it is irritating. But like I said, he is the most consistent. Monetary success followed him, not other way around.
Rush refuses to endorse candidates for several very good reasons.
LOL!
Take care of that hand. >Some people become legends.
A saying from the old days, “Shake the hand that shook the hand of John L. Sullivan.”
+President George H.W. Bush as a college baseball player has a picture of himself with >Babe Ruth.
