With all that's going on in the news today that's bringing us down, this should provide a nice break from that. Someone took a lot of time to edit this but watching it is well worth your time.

Thanks for posting! I love to watch the Old Masters dance like Fred Astair and Gene Kelly and Ginger Rogers Etc.
One of my all time favs is Donald O'Connor.
I am still amazed to this day by his bit from "Singing In the Rain" to the tune of Make 'Em Laugh check out this vid and pay close attention at about 3:29 Donald O'Connor - Make 'em Laugh

That puts all the current dancing shows to shame. Grace and flow with costumes that are sensual but not slutty.

There are some women who can make all others in their presence simply disappear from view. This was one of them.
She had a tragic life and it is amazing how she could be so vivacious in spite of it all. I guess drugs or alcohol can work for awhile. The price is paid early and the end comes terribly though.

I do remember reading that Donald O’Connor was such a heavy smoker that he had to be hospitalized after shooting that scene due to exhaustion. Definitely an all-time classic.

I think this was done by an artist (either a professional videographer or an up-and-comer). It is one of those things that, when studied again and again, gets better with each viewing.
It is pure art!
It is brilliant!
To: murron; All
BTW, as someone who appreciates modern art (i.e. not necessarily just a purdy picture)...I was taught to study a piece by repetition or repetitive viewing, reading, hearing, etc. Repetitive study of a work of art will either cause that piece to grow or to dwindle. True art grows to the sublime...imitation and trash peters out quickly.
Everyone that loves music understands the self-evident truth of that statement.
