I watched a couple of episodes, then I switched to re-runs of Hogan’s Heroes.

Isn’t the “husband” in that series a pervert in real life? Not that I’d watch it if he wasn’t.Network TV lost me about 30 years ago.

I watched about 5 minutes, and when they tried to sell the idea that Homo Doogie Howser is a womanizer, I couldn’t stomach it.

It’s not a bad show, but definitely for adults. It has the least amount of politically correctness of any show now on broadcast networks.

It’s over the top because it’s an autobiographical narrative of a father told (with embellishments) to his late teen children.

I can't stand it when I run across this show.

The characters (and the actor that play them) exude the worst of what is wrong with our culture. They all play the "snarky, ironic, I-Think-I'm-Hilarious-With-My-Antics" narcissists.

In truth, they are shallow, self-absorbed, and selfish.

Never watched it. Gave up entirely on modern sitcoms. The characters are always so bratty and insufferably self-absorbed. I really can’t stomach them. And the ‘humor’ is invariably nothing much beyond a constant stream of tacky put-downs and sexual innuendos. So tired and lame. Really makes me want to vomit, seeing how far the culture has devolved. And I used to actually ‘enjoy’ sitcoms!

I laugh at this kind of hype (but not that show, it is not funny at all) because only idiots watch it. They must be the children of the part of my generation that made Laverne and Shirley the top show for a couple of years. Pure stupidity. Goes to show you why advertisers gear their ads for idiots. (they know who is watching)

It’s on before Big Bang (about the only thing I watch). I turn the TV on and immediately hit mute just in case I’m early.

It is up almost 20 percent this season among the audience that advertisers most want to reach, viewers between the ages of 18 and 49, and now ranks as the No. 8 entertainment show in that category.

It's like football players scoring a touchdown and holding up eight fingers.

Don’t watch any of them ... there’s always the Hollywood queer, freak and pervert agenda.

Seven years into its run this well-regarded series, which returns with a new episode on Monday night, is scoring its best ratings.

There's no explaining taste. I refuse to get into the "good" and "bad" argument, I just know (and care about) what I like. I have no emotional need to be among the "popularity" freaks.

In fact, I feel a warm sense of pride to have never watched "reality" shows, "comedy" shows such as Roseann Barr, Ellen Degenerate and Two and a half Men, and the dysfunctional "actors" providing this entertainment.

Never missed them, and never felt the slightest need to apologize for lacking the dumbass gene.

I never thought the show was very funny but Neil Patrick Harris is a fabulous, talented performer. He’s great in front of a camera as well as on stage. As opposed I am of homosexuality, I’d kill to see Harris on Broadway.

Frankly, I’m surprised it lasted past season one.

I watched it for the first season or two; got tired of it. I always thought Ted was gay. At least Neil Patrick Harris is convincing as a womanizing straight. I always thought the show should be called: "How I, a Gay Man, Met Your Mother".

If it is only now a "hit", why has it been on for 7 years?
