Nonsense!
That is far too small a comparison.
If we do not decisively deal with man-made Global Warming NOW, our galaxy, yes, the good ole Milky Way, will stop spinning!
Time will rewind!
Mankind will climb back up into the trees on the edge of the vast African savannah!

Hansen, showing his ignorant ass once again..........
"As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their hearts desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

He argues that storing up expensive and destructive consequences for society in future is an "injustice of one generation to others".
He is right about that part.
Going into massive debt and bringing down civilization for the sake of some ppm of a trace gas is an injustice to future generations indeed.

He’s partially correct. Global Warming is about turning the masses into slaves as we are forced to labor to pay for nothing but the energy and food required to get us back to work tomorrow. Global Warming ‘scientists’ should receive the same treatment as concentration camp guards or slavers.

It’s one thing to think those types of over the top statements in private ...it’s entirely different thing to publicly state them as a scientist....being promoted coming from NASA
In any other type of professional organization he would be fired....
Imagine the head of a billion dollar corporation stating such ridiculous things as Hansen .....he would be replaced post haste

He argues that storing up expensive and destructive consequences for society in future is an "injustice of one generation to others".You mean like utterly destroying whole industries and the economy as a whole, in pursuit of science fiction??? Yes, that would be a grave injustice to future generations.
